We came across this motel by accident while travelling on route 209, and we were charmed. This family-run motel consists of single or double cabins, away from the road, around a beautiful lawn with picnic tables and barbecues and with private parking places next to each room. Each cabin had its own covered terrace with table and chairs. Inside, the...

We stayed in one of the single cabins or rooms and it was great. Old but renovated and included modern amenities like a flat screen TV, refrigerator, phone (long distance included at no charge), nice shower with lots of hot water. AC/Heat and windows that you can actually open for fresh air. Included a porch with chairs. Very cozy and...

Don't let the name fool you I don't think of this as a motel since they are little cottages. Very well maintained inside and out. Most are two cottages adjoined and a few single ones.We stayed in number 14 with a king bed ,the room was very large and spotless. The location is close to town they say you can walk...

Eachroom is in a charming little cabin. One couple in our party stayed in a supersize room. We opted for a smaller, cozier space. All are in a lovely campus. the staff is superfriendly and helpful. It's family-run!

We visited the Myer Country Motel on August 6th, 2016 and had a lovely stay. The cabin was super clean and cute! The beds were comfortable, the bathroom so very nice! It was not fancy but it did not have to be - it was adorably country! We will recommend this motel to all our family and friends and will...

I was visiting my hometown with my adult Son for a class reunion but more importantly, I wanted my Son to experience everything there was to see in quaint, but now chic Milford, PA & the surrounding areas. We drove up from Florida & had leased a cabin on the Delaware River for a 2 week stay! Unfortunately, the cabin...

This is my favorite place to stay in the area. The property is lovely. The owners are friendly and efficient. The cabins are so sweet, neat and clean. This motel offers respite from the sterile atmosphere of the corporate hotels and the prices are so reasonable. I love the town of Milford, Grey Towers, downtown shopping and restaurants. Have been staying...

We stayed here as a stop on the way to Boston. Wish we could have stayed longer. The hotel was great. We are British and this really felt like an American motel. Really cute huts that looked great and were really comfortable. Each has a little porch and great air con - which we were grateful for as we arrived...

We love staying at Myer Motel. Small white cabins surround a large grassy lawn. The cabins are great, cute, clean, and comfortable! We especially love sitting on the front porch. Each cabin has its own porch! Our grandchildren love to play on the lawn in front of the cabins and also play with the resident dog, Finnigan. It's quiet and...

The owner was very friendly at checkin. The grounds were well kept. This place is great. Our room was large and clean. Our room had a nice tv, a refrigerator, and a small coffee maker. We had a nice sitting porch. The location was quiet and we had a good nights sleep. It's obvious that the owners keep this place...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Welcome to the Myer Country Motel where for over 68 years our standards of innkeeping excellence have been our trademark. Nestled among the Pocono Mountains of North Eastern Pennsylvania, the cottages sit on four acres with blue spruce and white pine trees lining the courtyard. The Myer Country Motel was established in 1945 by Ralph and Matilda Myer. Ralph remarried in 1952 to Audubon Winfield and they together continued to run the motel well into their 80's until their daughter, Audubon Cox, took over in 1975. She brought her energy and knack for decorating to the motel to give it a country home feel. Many people comment that this is their "home away from home". In June 1995 the third generation took over to continue the family business. Today you'll find the same warm, country friendliness that has set us apart for over 68 years. We hope you will visit us soon! ... more   less
