We love to go to Milford, and our go to place to stay is Scottish Inn. It is very clean and comfortable. The proprietors are very helpful and kind. The beds and pillows are very comfortable and clean. The bathroom is always clean and fresh. We always have a wonderful stay at Scottish Inn.

Great place. Is our halfway point to visiting New England..and it's next door to a great diner (Village Diner)!!! We stop here a few times a year, rooms always clean and one night stay is truly affordable.

Easy access, clean, very very basic close to dining and businesses. Bed hard but actually a good night sleep, sheets scratchy though. Tge reason I rated as a 3 we had absolutely no hot water and the worst water pressure ever! No way could you shower, barely a trickle to brush your teeth! Stayed in room 9.

Very tidy old fashioned style motel, rooms open onto the parking lot. No steps. The room was clean, beds comfortable, nice decorative touches in the bathroom, Plenty of space to set your things, good size fridge and TV. Windows can be opened. Flowers pots by the the doors and gardens are very well taken care of. The owners have been there for 20 years! BONUS An original 1950s diner is just steps away with great breakfast and coffee.

As one who logged hundreds of stays in large chain hotels, I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed this "no frills" roadside motel experience. Room was small (as expected) but had all essentials and then some (including desk, microwave, refrigerator). It was spotlessly clean. It was nice to park my car mere steps from the door.

So friendly and helpful! Hostess greeted us warmly, personally checked on our reservation prior to arrival. The room was clean. It is easy access from Rte 84 and 5 minutes to Milford center and several restaurants close by. Close (10 - 15 mins) to walking trails in Poconos. Most impressive was that my husband left his wallet outside on a bench. They called us right away when it was found and mailed it certified mail to us as soon as possible with everything still in it! They even called to make sure it arrived!

VERY clean, LOVELY staff, convenient, historic diner right next door (also with VERY nice staff). Gppd sized sleeping room with desk, rolling chair, straight back cushioned chair, microwave and large fridge with freezer compartment. Screened windows on each side that open for fresh air! screened window in bathroom that also can open. Nice hanging closet with luggage rack. Shower curtain and bedding and window curtains looked new. The ONLY thing I would add is either a desk lamp or a standing lamp next to the desk, as the lighting was a bit dim. The room has an overhead light and two nice reading lights over the bed. And despite being right next to the interstate, it got quiet pretty early. You can hear the neighbors next door, but everyone was VERY considerate and quiet. I barely heard anyone get up and leave in the morning -- and I'm a very light sleeper. Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely room, spacious, spotless, and well appointed. Local owners are so friendly and helpful. Bed is very comfy, thick towels, microwave and fridge!! I lived in the area from 2005-2016 and always wanted to stay here, it’s so cute and right off 84! Diner next door. River nearby!

We stayed here for one night while traveling through. Extremely clean rooms and pleasant staff. Walls are a bit thin and bed wasn’t the greatest. Pillows are rather flat. Would definitely stay again, but maybe not for longer stays. Highway right in front of the hotel
