My so and i stayed at the Levi Deal on the first evening of a 150 mile bike trip from Cumberland MD to Pittsburgh PA. After a gruelling 34 mile uphill ride in 90 degree heat we were happy to relax and enjoy the wonderfully restored Victorian mansion. Our rooms were spacious and tastefully furnished. The mansion itself has been...

A gorgeous, recently-remodeled mansion, with a refreshing mix of eclectic decor. Proprietors are generous and accommodating, and knowledgeable of the area. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, beautifully decorated. The only part of our stay that was less than wonderful was the nearby traintracks and often-running train. But as per suggestion, some (provided!) wine, (provided!) earplugs, and a long bike...

Full disclosure: I have been writing a bed and breakfast column for nearly 25 years - so I've seen it all. Trust me. The Good, the Bad and the...well...not exactly ugly, but some fairly pedestrian B & B's. I've seen intricate woodwork, eaten delicious breakfasts and slept on countless pillow top mattresses. But. Every now and then I am surprised....

Just a wonderful place to stay. Beautifully restored Victorian mansion built in 1900 is outstanding. Period furniture and soaring ceilings along with the extremely friendly sharing attitude of the innkeepers made the stay one to remember. Also after 3 days on the trail I received the best (really) sports/relaxation massage from Michael that I have ever received. I was completely...

We stayed here the last night of our biking trip from Pittsburgh to Cumberland on the GAP. It was, by far, our best accommodation, and one of the best B&B's I have experienced. It is a beautifully restored turn-of-the 20th century mansion with comfortable rooms and bathrooms (jetted tubs for those tired bodies). The owners were warm and welcoming, and...

Three couples, all in our sixties stayed here in May 2015 on our 150 mile bicycle trip on the Great Allegheny Passage. The owners, Michael and Jan welcomed us with wine, beer and light snacks served in their historic mansion. The house was built in 1900 and has been fully and lovingly restored. The bedrooms were large, beautifully decorated and...

We stayed for two nights, what a treat. From the moment we arrived we were so impressed with the house and how beautifully is has been restored, the quality of the accomodations and of course the food. We relaxed on the front porch with a great glass of wine prior to our dinner. Very relaxing.

I recently stayed at the Levi Deal Mansion for a job in the area. I'm a traveling actor, sleeping in a different place every night, so finding a place like this one that is not only clean and comfortable but luxurious and of the highest quality is truly a much welcomed rarity. Jan and Michael were incredibly warm and hospitable...

The Levi Deal is lovely; very welcoming with wonderful food and a superb ambiance. We stopped here on our Great Allegheny Passage cycle trip. Would be five stars but for two things: we had a room with the spa bath, but there wasn't enough hot water to cover the spouts on the side of the bath and use it; and...

I am glad you enjoyed your overall experience, and thank you for an honest review. Our plumber came over the week you left to check out and adjust the water heaters in the house, so hopefully the problem won't repeat. Please come see us again soon!

After a long day of biking what a relief it was to experience such great hospitality. The hosts were friendly and warm, the atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable. The breakfast was delicious and very appealing. A perfect evening stay. What a treat.
