My husband and I have attended a French Cooking Weekend at the Mercersburg Inn for 17 years. We keep coming year after year because the Inn is clean, rooms attractive, staff super-accommodating and the French cooking classes delicious and fun. Our stay at the Mercersburg Inn is a relaxing highlight of our year.

We recently spent a night at the Mercersburg Inn on our way to visit friends in Virginia. The Inn itself was elegant, the hosts and their staff most welcoming and the food excellent. Their website represents the accommodations and restaurant accurately.

The Inn keepers Jim and Lisa always make you feel so welcome. This is our fourth time here, first two times for French cooking classes which were fun, then a cheese making class which was great. We can with friends and family whom loved the historic Mansion. The food in the dinning room is special We are now here for...

We've come here twice now for our annual ski trip to whitetail and just love this charming, cozy inn. So cute, and a lovely friendly staff. Dinner is delicious, as is breakfast. Only a 10ish minute drive to whitetail. Rooms are cozy and beds are comfortable.

Well, as I write this Whitetail has their snow making machine up and running for 2 days. They are hoping to open by Thursday, December 15. I am glad you enjoyed your times at the Inn during the ski season. Take a look at our website. Maybe we can convince you to try another of our many events. Thanks for...

We are fans of the inn and just got home from another fantastic wine dinner. We attended a wine tasting before dinner that was led by a wine expert. Then a five course dinner was served with wine pairings. The inn is a gorgeous mansion and we like Room 2 which is called the Dressing Room. Jim and Lisa, the innkeepers,...

Excellent stay at the Mercersburg Inn. One of the best bed and breakfast that we have stayed in. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. Staff and owner ready to assist! Town is very small and not much going on, so this is a place for quiet and relaxation!

No one who loves architecture can drive past this venerable Mercersburg institution without taking at least a glance. In this rural area of Pennsylvania, The Mercersburg Inn is a standout in size, setting and stateliness. In my lifetime I have driven past literally thousands of times, but I can count on one hand the times I have stopped to have...

Thanks for celebrating at the Inn again. I just want to make sure that everyone realizes that there is a king size bed in your room. The pull out is if additional guests want to stay in the same room. We usually serve dinner in the porch dining room during the spring, summer and early fall. If has so many...

I graduated from the Academy many years ago and I always stay at the Inn when I visit. It is an absolutely beautiful inn and the rooms are wonderfully furnished and decorated. While many important historical features have been preserved, the inn has also been updated to provide comfort and function to today's standards. My room (Dressing Room #2 this...

Jim and Lisa made it easy for us to plan our elopement, and provided many classy and nice touches to make it special. The flowers, food, cake, champagne, and other features, all provided in a wonderful Inn, made it more romantic. The Inn is filled with antiques and there are beautiful things to look at in every room, but it...

My husband and I had an amazing anniversary dinner. The mansion itself is so classy and beautiful. The beef, garlic potatoes, veggies and pear glace were world-class. Every bite we took was followed by a "mmm". We also enjoyed the fresh warm bread which went perfectly with our wine. What am outstanding and romantic way to celebrate 35 years of...
