A very quaint b&b, great food, and we walked in both mornings and our waitress Kayla made us feel right at home. She has a bright smile and great to talk to. We will hopefully see her again! Farnsworth house is the best!

Stayed at the Farnsworth House while visiting my daughter at IUP and taking a couple of much needed days just to relax with a good friend. We were greeted in the driveway by our hosts, JP and Bill. They scooped up our luggage for us , showed us to our lovely room and sat with us in the second floor...

The hosts made us feel immediately welcomed. As we entered the large room of restored pianos, player pianos and antique music players, there are amazing treasures in every space to which our attention turned . Each room has been restored with inventive and careful attention to detail. Privacy is respected, but our hosts are so enjoyable and gracious, we now...

My family stayed here for groundhog's day weekend 2013. J.P, and Bill were really wonderful hosts - they even ordered me a birthday cake! Their home is beautiful and the breakfasts were delicious. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast.

I can't say enough about how wonderful this trip with my boyfriend was. So I'll simply tell the story. Feel free to skim, just don't underestimate the incredible charm and history of the house, and the warm hospitality of those who own it. And for ONLY $65-$85 a night, even the most budget-conscious traveler would be hard pressed to get...

My wife and I stayed at the Farnsworth House B&B while we were visiting our daughter, a psychology professor at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Indiana, PA. The house is about a 20 minute drive from the University, and is hidden away in a tranquil valley not far from the small town of Clymer, PA. Our gracious hosts were Jon and...

This place is truly unique, and our second visit was even better than the first. Jon & Bill are the consummate hosts, providing endless details and history of their grand home and the interesting contents. With an excellent breakfast each day, and their golden retriever Kirby for fun, this B&B is well worth the drive out to the countryside of...

My daughter is a recent graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Just before Easter, I tried to find a room for the night before her graduation that was to be held over two months later. There wasn't a room in Indiana to be found! It was a blessing when one of the sympathetic hotel clerks shared with me the name...

We wanted a place that was unique and off the beaten path on our way to Falling Water, the Frank Lloyd Wright house. The Farnsworth House Bed & Breakfast was the perfect place. The host and owner, Jon was wonderful. He gave us a grand tour of the majestic home, including his amazing collection of grand player pianos and rare...

“Each room has its own character that carries a theme. The thought and design of each space makes this a rich and rewarding experience regardless of the room chosen.”

“All rooms are good, but staying in the Adirondack room that opens up the library balcony is pretty wonderful.”

“The Adirondak room is quite nice, but the very tight winding staircase may be difficult for some. The other 2 rooms are larger and more easily accessed.”

“The Hollywood Room is my personal favorite. It takes the occupant back to the glory days of Tinseltown. Of course, there are Jimmy Stewart memorabilia as the B&B is a mere twenty minutes from Indiana, the home of James Stewart. I stayed in the Niagara Room, which transported me to Niagara Falls in the 1930s. It's charming with pennants adorning the walls. I shouldn't have been surprised if Rudy Valley suddenly appeared and sang using a megaphone! In an effort to maintain the historical integrity, there is an old porcelain tub with a rubber hose instead of an updated shower. The Adirondack Room's floor bears a bear rug. There is a deer head on the wall. This room is definitely for the outdoorsman.”
