Grant and staff did a wonderful job making my son and his finance's Rehearsal Dinner very special. It was a perfect opportunity to let our families socialize in a beautiful setting on the Delaware River. We chose heavy appetizers, which were delicious and plenty. Also the rooms at the Black Bass were lovely and each provided a unique atmosphere. A... More

We had a WONDERFUL dinner in a beautiful historic Inn...The Black Bass. The view of the Delaware River in the Fall was glorious! And the food was exquisite! The service was top notch as well with an extremely knowledgeable staff. The wines were of a nice variety with their Pinot Noir excellent. We WILL definitely return!

The charming Black Bass Hotel is located on the Delaware river right up against the road. Can't miss it! Parking is across the street and the office is inside on the left. (no sign) Ok... for a hotel that charges upscale prices, this hotel needs to polish it's customer service. A smile and a welcome goes a long way! We... More

Stayed here this weekend and thought it was great. Front desk staff was superb and very accommodating with everything. And the waitress-Sue was so sweet and friendly. Breakfast was great with water views and she even put a candle in my friends breakfast for her birthday. Highly recommend and close to New Hope and Lambertville. Great weekend getaway.

We had a drink at the well stocked bar while we waited for friends. The menu had a good selection of seafood and other local favorites. The service was excellent and the view of th Delaware river was beautiful.

I had booked another hotel for the night of 8/2 but ended up leaving it because of security concerns (no locks on the windows in my room which was accessible from an exterior balcony). In my frantic search for another place to stay I came upon this lovely hotel right on the Delaware River. I ended up staying in one... More

Stayed here two nights visiting friends nearby. The inn is a lovely old building full of character, right on the river. Our room - or suite - was really two rooms on two levels connected by a winding staircase. We ate and drank one night on the terrace above the river, al fresco. The staff were great and very welcoming.... More

Beautifully decorated and luxurious room. It's the biggest bed I've ever encountered, though the antique wooden frame led to many a bumped knee. Bathroom was first rate and spacious and our view of the Delaware River was pristine.

We stayed at the hotel for one night. The room was interesting, with old pictures and furniture. There was an old broken chair in the bathroom, which was of no use.The TV didn't work in the beginning and was very small. There was no place for our clothes,so we had to arrange them on the old sofas. Not even our cell phones worked. The restaurant didn't have... My wife and I booked the Suite Lorraine, the nicest room in the hotel, on a Tuesday night for our seventh wedding anniversary getaway. After an average dinner at the hotel, we returned to our room at 9:00 to relax and enjoy the view of the river. However, we were immediately treated to a series of loud bumps, crashes, and... More
