I agree with the reviews that the General Sutter Inn is quaint and on most weekends it might be quiet enough. However, we experienced a private party with a band, which proved that at least the rooms above the banquet room have not gone through any renovation to reduce the noise. It sounded like having the band in the room....

If you are looking for a cozy nook patio dining experience in Lititz then "The Sutter" is the place for you! Even though it is on the square in Lititz, it has that tucked away romantic retreat feel to it......beautifully landscaped with a real touch of refinement! You'll just love this upscale lovely setting! We typically dine on the patio...

Dear Donna S, Thank you for the absolutely stunning review that you have posted here on TripAdvisor! I would even go so far as to say that if we ever start a "Testimonials" section, I will definitely be using your review! You single handedly captured so very many of the amenities that make the General Sutter & Bulls Head such...

We reserved two rooms at the General Sutter Inn which were wonderful. Both rooms were on the third floor of the Inn which is considered the Penthouse. The rooms were spacious, clean, and the staff was absolutely wonderful. We had a late arrival, and they made sure everything was seamless and ready.

Staff was very nice. Place is very clean and it was busy. The bed was comfortable but a bit small. There was no air conditioning in our room and we roasted so we had to open a window but then again it was February. We did ask the staff about that earlier but that went no where. The murder mystery...

Dear AnneC, Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us here on TripAdvisor. I sincerely appreciate your honest, open thoughts on the entirety of your stay. I'm glad that at the end of everything you were overall please with everything that the Bulls Head Public House and General Sutter Inn had to offer, minus the Murder Mystery show. We are...

We visited General Sutter for lunch while visiting the beautiful town of Lititz. We didn't have reservations, however, the Host was gracious enough to sit us at a very nice table. The open-faced pork BBQ sandwich was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at the General Sutter.

My friend and i stayed in Lititz for the weekend. I had stayed in Lititz before, but had not visited Sutters. We ate in the Pub. Although i understood the whole British Pub style of service, when we finally grabbed a table, we had to sit with the previous customers dirty dishes on our table for quite sometime. We both...

Dear breddig 1963, While I will openly apologize for our lackluster performance that was your flank steak, I do hope it did not hinder you weekend with us in Lititz. Furthermore, I would like to express our regrets for having to sit at a dirty table for however long. This type of experience is not one we typically provide our...

Our experience: We stayed on a Friday to Saturday. One night. We booked room 222, which was supposed to consist of a queen size bed. We arrived, checked in. The room was clean, very dated, definitely needs updating. My 2 issues: the bed was a full size, not queen, that i specifically PAID for. Second issue: no outlet in the...

I went to general sutter with my family for my birthday. We had a reservation and were seated immediately. Upon being seated, however, it took about 20-25 minutes for a server to come over. Once he finally came over and took our drink orders, it took 40 minutes for us to get our drinks (no exaggeration). Once our drinks FINALLY...

Every year my best friend and I meet in Lititz and celebrate our birthdays at the restauarant in the General Sutter Inn. This lunch somehow lacked luster though. I ordered...
