Lancaster Arts Hotel is not only beautiful inside and outside but also the staff is really nice and the breakfast is excellent. Plus, we received free tickets for the baseball match which was being held that afternoon. Amish villages are not that far (20 minutes by cab) so it's a good choice if you're planning on visiting them. I'd definitely...

We were going to Syracuse,NY to visit family. We stayed in Lancaster as a midway point. We wanted to learn more about the Amish so we extended our stay to a couple of days. The hotel was a great surprise. I kind of expected just an old room in a warehouse that was quaint. It was more luxurious than other...

I was in town on business and thought about a 'non-traditional' stay (e.g. not a branded chain): this place fit the bill! The staff was friendly and the place had a fun and funky feel. They have fully embraced the historcal aspects of this former tobacco building turned hotel. The beautiful wood floors (original?) and modern feel of the furnishings...

I was in Lancaster due to an emergency with my daughter, a student at F&M. While driving up from NJ I was told the hotel was full and no rooms were available. Once in Lancaster I called again, explained my situation and that my daughter was released from the ER but needed a good nights rest (she had a Kidney...

This place is quite a surprise - built in a converted tobacco warehouse the rooms have a luxury lofty feel and are very well appointed. The service was friendly and the breakfast good but a bit crowded when we went due to the presence of a coach party. Allin all a ice place to stay and handy for Amish country.

I chose the Lancaster Arts Hotel purely because of its location. What a pleasant surprise. This establishment is a "boutique style" hotel, located in a former tobacco warehouse. The room itself was well appointed, with exposed brick and soothing colors. The bathroom had a neat layout, with french doors opening to a walk in, zero step shower. A teak shelf...

Stayed here for a getaway weekend with my wife, and the Arts lived up to all of the glowing reviews. A funky, boutique hotel that has you thinking you are in a big city but with the ease of coming and going that is Lancaster. Prior to arrival I emailed the hotel to inquire about robes in the room and...

Even though I was born and raised in Harrisburg, I had never really visited Lancaster. We found the Lancaster Arts Hotel online, then my artist niece who lives nearby told us it was really worth a visit. As died-in-the-wool New Yorkers, we thought it would be quaint...but it was stellar! The place is a converted tobacco warehouse from the 1800's....

Stayed at the property the rooms are small, breakfast below average. The Resturant at the property is very good for dinner. Staff is extremely friendly, I believe they do have bigger rooms but were sold out, the room we got was close to the elevator. For probably a little more is the Marriott at Penn square which is much better...

Very nice furnished hotel with clean and comfortable rooms. In addition to that it was the first one on our trip which welcomed us with a little gift in the form of chocolate and a rose placed on the bed. The only thing we had a little problem with was the floor in our room which was wooden and raw...
