This is a very nice BnB in a neat little town that we visited after touring Winterthur. We stayed in the large Longwood Suite. Very good king bed with a cute, but small bathroom. I suspect the size of the bathroom was dictated by the conversion to a BnB from an early 1900s home. Of course, there are lots of...

We stayed there two nights in October--terrific location, just 2-3 blocks from Kennett Square, PA, which a story in itself. Kennett House B&B is a well constructed "fortress", a model of early 1900 built-to-last construction. We stayed in the Delaware Room, which had its own sitting room, very roomy, yet cozy and comfortable. Gilja, the owner, is very warm, welcoming,...

This lovely restored property is a short walk to the town center and very close to Longwood Gardens, just up the main road. Gilja is a wonderful hostess and prepared delicious French toast and mushroom omelets. The room was cozy and quiet and with room to put our "stuff" without compromising charm. Highly recommend!

Gilja is the most welcoming owner! She greets you warmly and treats you as family. The rooms are spacious and priced well for the area. You can walk to several nearby restaurants and shops. Great stay for the Kennett Brew Fest (October 11). You can walk to the Brew Fest and to town after. Saved the Best for last: your...

This us a wonderful example if the Pennsylvania stone house- thick walls, big porch, many small rooms for living space, fireplaces, very straightforward in design. It's in- town location is a blessing (walk to restaurants and shops) and curse (traffic noise from street). They did provide a noise-blocking devise that was helpful. We had French toast made with French bread...

We just returned from a delightful stay at Kennett House in celebration of our 46th anniversary. It was a wonderful experience! Gilja provided the warmest of hospitality, not to mention a most delicious breakfast! This was by far the cleanest and best equipped B&B we've ever stayed at. Everything we needed was there....but best of all was the quiet and...
