This B&B is a converted rectory and the decor, while dated, is authentic and is from a day gone by. Everything is in working condition and the owner and staff are friendly and very accommodating. There is plenty of space in the living room, game room and dining area to enjoy if you want to spend some time relaxing and/or...

After a disappointment in another venue, I was delighted to find this place. I don't know why I haven't seen this before, as it has been open since 2012 and I've been traveling to Johnstown once per week since 1997. A former manse, this old house has been refashioned into a nice, comfortable inn, in the old and truest sense...

We really enjoyed this bed & breakfast. It was ideally located for the Johnstown Polka Festival, just a 6 or 7 block walk. It is the former rectory for the former Catholic church next door. The innkeeper does not stay on site, but is in and out periodically if anything is needed. They serve a happy hour which is a...

Charming inn. Walkable to much of the town. Really welcoming folks. We noted we were gluten free just so they wouldn't feel bad that we didn't eat a lot at breakfast. They went to the trouble of making a yummy gluten free apple cobbler. There was also fresh fruit eggs and ham. We would have been full with the regular...

This was an awesome find for my wife and I during our stay in Johnstown for a funeral. Neither of us had stayed in a bed and breakfast so we decided on this to give ourselves a small form of enjoyment on this unfortunate trip rather than stay in a mainstream hotel. It was a great experience! Our Inn keepers...

Mary Alice is helpful, friendly and goes beyond any other inn keeper. She made me their signature Creme Brûlée French Toast to take with me because I couldn't have it at breakfast. And it was declicious. Rooms are big and the location is central.

Nice place to stay, friendly staff that does their best to please, We had to leave very early one morning and Mary insisted on coming in early to make sure we had a hot breakfast before our long trip home. Can't say enough about the breakfasts, way beyond delicious!

Located within walking distance of Johnstown Flood Museum and other sites we were interested in visiting. Caroline met us on arrival to show us our room, The Cheaspeake, and to answer our many questions about the house and the town. Shortly thereafter, Mary Alice arrived and offered more history, as well as suggesting places to visit, e.g., Incline Plane. The...

Caroline and Mary Alice made my recent visit special. Caroline came over late in the evening to let us in. (We were the only ones at the inn that night!) Mary Alice made us a great breakfast. Since we had the inn to ourselves, we were able to check out all the rooms. Each room is decorated with a different...
