Perfect visit! The hosts are wonderfully welcoming. The home is beautifully decorated and spotless. Breakfast was delicious. Peacefully perfect. I'm here on business and had prep work to do. I sat by a beautiful fireplace in a large and comfortable room...totally productive space. My new home away from home when I visit Johnstown.

I stayed here the night before a conference in Johnstown at the university. Andy and Mary Lou are so welcoming and friendly!! They "rescued" me from my big city ignorance when I arrived in a taxi and the driver did not accept a credit card. Andy spotted me $20 to pay and tacked it on to my bill. I instantly...

An unbelievable overnight in Johnstown at the beautiful home. Andy and Mary Lou are the consummate host and hostess. The accommodations are truly beautiful and comfortable. The 2 private rooms with en suite bath are perfect in every way.. The views to the property from the sleeping quarters are breathtaking and I had an amazing restful night. Andy was extremely...

This place is definitely a treasure and we were fortunate to have stayed here !! The owners/caretakers were fabulous! It was quiet and peaceful and we had the most wonderful breakfast. Check out the pic of the fruit plate we enjoyed ---- created by Andrew:-) We were only able to stay one night for my husbands 68th birthday. What a...

My husband and I went for an overnight visit to Johnstown to visit the Flood Museum and related sites. We found the Meadowbrook School Bed & Breakfast by chance and are so glad we did. The host and hostess were delightful; the room accommodations were so quaint and charming; breakfast was to die for and really fueled us up for...

We loved staying at Meadowbrook and extended our stay from 2 nights to 4 nights. The host and hostess were extremely welcoming and did their best to make sure we had a great stay in Johnstown. They were very knowledgeable about things to do in the area and we used Meadowbrook as a base to travel as far afield as...

I second everything that has already been written. Location is fabulous; house is beautiful and spotless, and the area is gorgeous. We did not meet Marylou but Andy was terrific. The room was extremely comfortable, although the shower was tiny (I'm 5'5", 115 lbs, and had to be careful to not smack my elbows) and there were no curtains on...

What a wonderful hidden treasure. The owners, Andy and Marylou are fabulous and went above and beyond, including "rescuing" us from the train station. The B&B is close enough to everything, yet far enough to be a place to escape. No cell service in the house, so be prepared to unplug for a few :) Hot breakfast and coffee every...

This bed and breakfast is quite charming and quiet with so much more to offer than hotels in the vicinity. Surrounded by nature: beautiful trees, foliage, flowers and the pleasant sound of birds, owls, and crickets relax the mind, body, and soul. You won’t see and hear that at the Sleep Inn nor will you experience the quality of sleep...

I rarely give a 5 star rating to anything on TA but this place was worthy of it. Perfectly decorated in a beautiful setting it was the ideal place to start our trip. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a drink and conversation with them around a fire at night. There are only 2 rooms but they...
