Air Solomons domestic flights change schedule within day at short notice but don't randomly cancel flights - and Uepi Resort are up to speed on timetable changes, so there's no real reason to fly back before the 12th. However, very occasionally flights are 'full' from previous airports and don't have a place for extra passengers and very occasionally there are technical problems or weather problems (which if really serious aren't limited to just one day). If you like to play it safe there's no harm in planning a spare day in Honiara and/or take out travel insurance to cover the problem (well at least the financial consequences). Depends a bit on how you handle risks in other areas of your life ...
