We booked in for one night, ended up three nights. Great pool, best to drive to beach, walking along the track was narrow in places and kept having visions of snakes. The beach was great. The amenities need work but are functional. The days we were there they had a bunch of feral camped outside the closest block and they...

My family has been going to this park for years as a yearly get together. I have been many times. This time was the worst. Microwave wasn't clean, fans need to be cleaned, and an old smell inside. On our first day of arriving the kitchen benches had cockroaches on them. In each kitchen cabinet I would open I would...

Drunks, loud music, shouting and screaming kids. Don't come here on Friday or Saturday nights if you want a quiet camping experience. My wife and I don't expect total silence but some consideration for others right to reasonable peace and quiet would be nice.

We are local and go to this park 3 to 4 times a year but it is getting more and more run down. the park is not maintained well and our most recent site for our caravan was a disgrace. it was a sand pit mixed with rocks, bricks, dog bones and crap. we had to get someone there to...

Again we drove 1000ks from Far West NSW to give our 3 kids a holiday on the coast and a chance of a swim or 2. We hooked up the camper trailer and headed off to Norah Head Holiday Park. Peak season and a powered site was $92 a night. Seems to be an average cost but for that money...

Stayed for one night only requiring powered site for van. We had a spacious site convenient enough to the amentities which were very clean. My 2.5 yo son loved the pool and splash play area. Beautiful beach is only a short and easy stroll through the bush. There were many families with kids of all ages who all seemed to...

Located adjacent to 'Spoties'recreation and bowling club and a short walk to the rock pool or soldiers beach. Very large park with pool and jumping pillow for the kids. Reasonably quiet during the week but can get noisy on weekends depending on your neighbors. Management does not do any security patrols and you cannot contact them after hours. The club...

I was debating if to mark this as a 3 or 4 star. Norah Head Holiday Park is nice, the toilet block is a bit outdated, it was clean though which is important to me. I wouldn't go there in school holidays as the pool is very small and it would get very crowded. Jumping pillow is great for all...

Four of us get together once a year for a weekend away. This year we headed north to. The Norah Holiday Park met our expectations. The Osprey cabin we stayed in was clean and comfortable. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Belt on your wakeboard and get ready to kick up some spray! Norah Head is a haven of water sports that are great fun for young and old. A brisk walk through the quiet scrub is all that's between you and the sun, surf and sand. Our prime location gives visitors unfettered access to two beaches; go for a swim in the sparkling waters of either the Lakes or Soldiers Point beaches in the shadow of the historic Norah Head Lighthouse. The beaches are a drawcard for families and surf aficionados. Soldiers Beach is just a walk away and offers surfing opportunities famous throughout Australia, as it regularly hosts the Hot Tuna Central Coast Pro surf competition. The Lakes Beach is also popular and is patrolled throughout the holiday season and beyond. The beach is generally calm and therefore is great for families. The attractiveness of this beautiful beach is compounded by the many rock pools you'll find there, which are great for the children to go exploring in. If it is something a little more relaxing you are after, cast a line into the ocean and just wait for the fish to bite. Chances are you will not be waiting long either! For the accomplished fisherman Lakes Beach is the ideal spot for you to launch your next deep sea fishing adventure. Norah Head offers visitors numerous accommodation options. Caravan sites are available throughout the year. They are available in powered or unpowered varieties and provide easy access to amenities. Comfort seekers are amply provided for, with seven different types of cabins to choose from, all of them just a short walk from the beaches that make Norah Head famous. ... more   less
