We decided to have a weekend in Robertson and chose Greengate B&B to stay. The home is extremely comfortable, quiet and restful. The room was large and had all the basic requirements, TV Radio DVD Etc The ensuite clean and functional with all the necessary bits and pieces. Saturday afternoon was cold and it was a pleasure to rest and... More

Greengate B & B was impressive from the moment we arrived. Tony and Sue were so hospitable, the room was lovely as were the grounds. Brekkie was yummy and we couldn't eat lunch. No request was too much. They even gave us tips on where to go for dinner. While you're there, go and visit Pizzas in the Mist. Much... More

My husband and I called up at the last minute for a room for the night. This was no problem for Sue and Tony. They welcomed us with open arms and big smiles. The room was absolutely gorgeous and the bathroom was so big and beautifully appointed. You could of moved into this alone. The breakfast was very full filling.... More

The hassle free booking process was a great start. What a little gem hidden in the southern highlands. Clean and well appointed. Friendly hosts. Had one night and everything one could need. Nice breakfast in the morning as well. Would absolutely recommend this place. Rooms are plenty big enough with all the necessary facilities. Quiet and peaceful with a great view over the valley of the weather allows. Not... More

Greengate was a nice property in wonderful Robertson. However, I just didn't have the experience all the other reviewers seem to have had. Perhaps the reviews gave me unrealistic expectations, so I thought I should share my mediocre experience. The property definitely needs some sort of sign in front - or even on the gates - the driveway is very... More

Dear Pulltabhere, Sorry that your experience was mediocre. I am also sorry that you felt you were misled about mastercard payments. I do send out a confirmation email with clear( I think} directions and also that we take cash only. I will make sure that all signage to the contrary is removed. As it was 37 degrees that night and... More

We stayed in the green room which was beautifully appointed with very comfortable queen bed with thick duvet and high quality sheets. The room was very snug with a great heater. The room does have a little atrium with coffee/tea facilities and a large beautiful bathroom. When I say it could have been warmer this was where the problem was.... More

My partner and I recently spent two nights in the red room. The building and decor are charming and very appropriate to a cosy country stay. Rooms were nicely heated and felt homely with tea and coffee facilities, dvd's to watch and a stunning view from the window. Sue and Tony were very friendly, served a delicious breakfast and had... We were booked into this lovely B & B for two nights and Sue, the owner, could not do enough for us. We have a young child and she was catered for at Greengate. Amazing gardens which have been lovingly designed and maintained by the owners. Thank you for a peaceful and wonderful stay. We will definitely be back.

Thank Belinda G
