Stayed overnight with three members of my family in one of the 2 bedroom units. This unit had some real maintenance issues: 40 year old oven/cooktop, kitchen and living area infested with baby cockroaches. TV set cutting off frequently. Lounge A/C not working, noisy bathroom fan, free Wifi not available in rooms. Did not have time to complain as reception...

While this is considered to be budget accommodation I had a deluxe room, the bed was really comfortable and the room was clean and quiet. There was parking available at no additional charge, the pool area was clean and looked inviting. The staff were lovely and very willing to make sure that everything was right for me and my breakfast...

On the positive side, we found the room acceptable and the staff seemed friendly. However don't leave anything behind by mistake as you may not see it again. I informed them the next day that a pair of good shoes had been left in the room and had no response from 2 calls and an email until finally they said...

When we arrived, the allocated room hadn't been cleaned from the previous occupants and there was no cleaner on site to sort this out. An alternative room didn't provide secure parking for my work truck so I found somewhere else to stay. Hotel wouldn't refund the night's stay - what a rip off - the staff were rude and they...

The staff is friendly and try hard to help us for missing equipments in the room. However, the dusty carpet and blanket makes me sneeze and blocked nose entire night. I am allergic to dust. I don't think the cleaner actually vacuum the carpet at all. Very dusty ....I would only give 0.5 star but the misleading advertisement rated 4...

We found the staff friendly and helpful. The room was great for our stay. The drive to Nelson Bay is effortless. The area has great sites and restaurants. It is only a short drive to the Hunter wineries.

Absolutely TERRIBLE room, stained carpet and sofas and a strong urine smell and dead cockroaches on carpet. That was room 301 so I wonder how many other rooms are in the same condition. No way it's 4 Star maybe half a star.

We stopped here for a night and had a great stay. The pool is refreshing and the restaurant makes some amazing oriental food! The rooms are nice and the on site parking is also good. One great benefit was the free guest laundry that we took advantage of.
