A very comfortable 1 night stay. Warm welcome at check in, good sized room, well appointed and clean. Well located with pubs and restaurants nearby and only 10 mins walk to bottom of town. And one of the most comfortable beds I havevever slept in. Would certainly stay again

Super clean, fresh and extremely comfortable rooms. Excellent location. The hosts are the most genuine, friendly and helpful people you could meet. This place has such a cool laid back vibe, we really enjoyed our stay and we will be back. Thoroughly recommended!

Stayed here for 1 night whilst visiting Narooma. Such a lovely, little family run Motel. The man at the reception who checked us in was most friendly and helpful. Even went to the trouble of accommodating my mum and I to a bottom level room as my mum is 70 and hard to carry bags upstairs. You even get a complimentary chocolate bar on arrival, which is such a lovely gesture I thought. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. I particularly liked the layout of the room. I would highly recommend this motel to anyone staying in Narooma.

Stayed one night on a trip back from Bega to Sydney. Was pleasantly surprised as its website doesn’t do it justice. Spotlessly clean, well appointed room. I had the standard queen, perfect for one. Toiletries, plenty of towels, good linen, fridge, microwave and flat screen tv. Pool out the back with nice views. Quite a large room, too, with a small semi-private outdoor area. That’s the only bit that could be jazzed up with nicer chairs. Best of all, very quiet. Lovely lady checked me in. Thanks!

From the moment we checked in, we felt like we were staying with family. Our room (#9) was very welcoming & the little touches like the Kit Kat & the stereo in the room were lovely - as not everyone wants to watch TV. The TV was huge!! The room was very clean indeed ( I used to have a cleaning business, so, I know "real clean" ). Adam was very personable on check in, & that persona didn't change throughout our 2 night stay. This motel is within easy walking distance to most eateries. I/we would highly recommend staying at this motel, with this great team, as they are an awesome young team. We didn't book through a booking agency, as we wanted to keep the 12.5% tariff from going offshore. If you are looking at booking this property, please do the same & keep the money in Australia 👌👍.

A great motel for an overnight stay. The room was clean, very big compared to standard motel sizes and had all the amenities you'd need including a couch, large tv, kitchenette with microwave & fridge and a good shower. The bed was comfortable, and the motel is in a quiet spot even though it's address in on the Highway. The family who run the motel were very friendly. Upon arrival there was even a complimentary chocolate in the room, which was a really nice touch! Definitely great value for money.

Ours was only a one night stay while touring the south coast. The Top of the Town is an ideal place to put your head down for an evening. Any thoughts of noisy highway traffic were dispelled with a good comfortable night's sleep. Suspect the motel has been here for decades but refurbishments have been very well done and presents with a modern feel. Rooms are spacious with good cleaning standard plus basic amenities. Free wifi and TV channel selection OK. On site parking. Has ground and first floor rooms, so if stairs are a problem, get sorted ahead. Separately operated Italian restaurant on premises is most acceptable and convenient. No problem recommending, good value and friendly hosts.

One night stay; no hot water when I went to have a shower - ran the hot and cold water taps individually for five minutes each, still nothing, so I checked out and reported the water issue. The response; ‘...mate this has happened a few times before...it must be Council, they just turn us off...’. So, the Eurobodalla shire council is responsible for motel hot water...! Blind Freddie knows that’s rubbish, and for the motel’s spokesperson to suggest it, speaks volumes for why the property should be last on your list !!!!

Response from Troy Haddon, Owner at Top Of The Town Motel
Responded 25 Oct 2020
Ok so first of all - I thought that you were saying you had no water at all... my mistake on that, apologies.. and yes it is true on occasion that council can shut off water without notice when doing works - it was just my initial thought - In any case once we knew it was the hot water we checked the Gas bottles and one of them ( there are a number that service different room numbers ) had not been refilled by our supplier on their regular visits which is extremely disappointing - So sorry you had this issue but if we had time to check things we would have given you another room key to have a shower etc as we did with other guests after we knew - again its very disappointing that this happened and we are sorry for the inconvenience.

We stayed at Top of the Town Motel after an accident. The owners were fantastic, so caring, considerate, helpful. The room was great, plenty of space, table and chairs, lounge, separate kitchenette. Very clean. Very convenient, close to everything. Restaurant on property very convenient and good, doo room service. Would happily stay again Thoroughly recommend.

This is one of my regular stops on my south Coast run for work. Never any issues, staff amazing. Beds divine and rooms always clean and decorated in current style and colours. Its on the main road but never had issues with road noise. Great place to stay and walk to pub, into town etc. Highly recommended
