Booked Mum in for the night at the stunning Farmhouse and she loved it. Excellent. Order a beautiful breakfast hamper to really spoil yourself. We walked around the organic gardens and were welcome to grab some lemons and herbs from the garden. Thank you Mavis's 🌻

We stayed at Mavis's earlier this week as a small group on a cycling trip. The whole experience was perfect. The accommodation is very luxurious and extremely charming (the shower in the 'Old Dairy' is a highlight). Our meal at the Kitchen was fantastic and so ideal when you are staying on the property. The location is ideal for an...

I visited here with my five year old and a girlfriend. My son was entertained by an activity pack and a huge plate of meatballs, which he loved. Leaving us to enjoy our wine, delicious share plates and that view! We finished by wandering around the stunning garden and even got to feed the chickens. I can imagine coming back...

I sat next to an open window and watched staff gathering garnishes for the meals as they were being prepared. This place is backed by a strong philosophy of fairness. You see it in the happy faces of the staff and you can literally feel it in the place. The restaurant was quite busy but staff went about their business...

We had a lovely time staying in the Log Cabin at Mavis's. Mavis's restaurant is a long-term favourite of ours and we often make the drive for a delicious country lunch, but this was our first time staying on the property. The Log Cabin has everything you could possibly need for an enjoyable getaway - there was jam, muesli and...

We absolutely loved the serenity and the laid-back atmosphere of this place! We stayed in the log cabin for two nights and found it to be very quiet despite being closest to the road (there's hardly any traffic). Lunch in the restaurant was spectacular - we also enjoyed wandering around the grounds and exploring the kitchen garden. Having climbed Mt...

This beautiful old home run by local Italians and with a Spanish chef offer a limited but delicious menu. There were 9 of us, including 2 x 10 year olds and a teenager and between us we tried everything on the menu for breakfast as well as a serve of profiteroles ( for the starving 17 yer old) Everyone was...

Lunched at Mavis' Kitchen and stayed overnight in a cabin. The restaurant is a great lunch spot or stop for coffee and cake after climbing Mt Warning. The restaurant is adjacent to an impressive herb and vege garden and grassed area that kids can roam and enjoy. Great family atmosphere with picnic blankets available. The lunch menu contained farmhouse style...

Stayed in the Log Cabin for 3 nights. It held such promise ..... at first. We had been offered the upgrade to the Secret Cabin but the Log Cabin seemed more rustic..... more 'us'. Regretting that decision now. More honesty on the other end of the phone about the negatives of the Log Cabin would have been appreciated. This is...
