We stayed in the Opal Cottage with our two dogs who loved exploring the rambling garden. Great set up in the Cottege, we self-catered thanks to Khan's IGA with nice food and wine watching sunsets that blew us away. The bed is super comfortable and the huge bathroom has a sense of luxury, very welcome as The Ridge was pretty...

We stayed in the Opal Cottage. The cactus and succulent garden was really lovely, I enjoyed spending time relaxing there while the dog sniffed about. The house was very clean, well equipped with a giant fridge, nice bathroom, comfortable bed and sofa bed. It suited us very nicely. It was a shame to only have one night there.

My family and I recently stayed at this wonderful little cottage and we had a terrific time. The cottage was spotlessly clean and organized. We had a leisurely glass of Red in the afternoon watching the sunset over the gardens. I highly recommend this venue as a much preferred option to the generic motels you find on the road.

If you go expecting high-end digs you have gone to the wrong place. I imagine some of the cabins in the holiday parks could be of a better standard than the 1 bedroom house we occupied, but as they say in the intro why stay in a motel or hotel room when you can have your own little house to...

We really enjoyed our time in the Opal Cottage for a few nights. We could have stayed longer as we felt very relaxed and happy here. There was everything you needed and it felt like you were staying with friends or family. I wish there were more accommodation options like this when travelling. Sitting in the garden I was so...

For a couple (young or old ) this cottage has everything you need. From a well equipped kitchen to a very comfortable bed with clean crisp bedding. Although this cottage may be small (one bedroom) it is well worth the cost to have a stand alone home with front and back garden inhabited by local wildlife. Close to shops and...

We stayed in both the 1 bedroom and the 2 bedroom cottage. They were both very comfortable and centrally located. The smaller cottage has a lovely palm and cactus garden frequented by lots of birds. The larger cottage is spacious and has a sunny, grassy front yard. These cottages would be great for a longer stay because they have everything...

I've been to the Ridge for the June long weekend for four years in a row now and have stayed in one of these cottages each time. The first three years I stayed in Harliquin Cottage and this time in the smaller one bedroom Opal Cottage. Both the houses are outstanding with all the comforts of home. Extremely clean and...

“A short walk to a restaurant called Bruno's doing a brisk trade.”

“Don't forget to watch the sunset on the green car door route and go to the bore baths (especially at night under a canopy of a zillion stars)”

“The Harlequin cottage is on a side street away from the main drag, so reasonable quiet at night and neighbours are also good. Sat night a bit noisy from the music flowing up from the pub down in the main street, but otherwise good. No noisy hoons or anything plus you can lock the gate behind your car at night.”
