Our group stayed there for a few nights in October 16. When we arrived a few rings on the bell at the counter roused the manager after a while. It was our first stay there and it was an impressivve looking building. The restaurant was not open during our stay so we had to please ourselves in town which did...

We loved this place. Just beautiful, historical grand hotel. Would have loved to have seen it in the old days. The restaurant and bar were not open during our stay so this hotel was very quiet and peaceful. Totally comfortable and clean. Ceiling fans and air conditioning help combat the heat. Its an easy walk into to town for dinner...

Stay here if you want much more character than your average motel. The Historic Hydro has large external & internal balconies , lovely wooden staircases & historic photos. We had a very comfortable night and a continental breakfast with good range of choices - except only instant coffee!. Other pluses: free wifi & friendly staff.

We attended a function here with about 100+ people of all ages. The finger food showed great variety and quality and staff were attentive to maintaining adequate amounts on the tables at any time. The inside rooms and outside areas provided enough space (just) to mix and mingle. Other reviews detail the charm and quality of the place and i...

Loved it! The Manager is a very busy person. OK so wwhe we arrived he wasn't standing behind the counter waiting for us, but there was a sign asking us to phone a number. Naturally we have mobiles so we dialled the number indicated andnthe phone rang somewhere in the building. He answered and came to give us a key...

Griffith was booked out so we stayed at Leeton. We chose the Historic Hydro Motor Inn as we have tired of the standard style motel over the years. The Hydro has a character of it's own, having been built in 1919 as accommodation for the management staff of the Murrumbidgee Irrigation scheme. The charm of yesteryear is still there and...

Great place. Friendly, good food and beer and the historic building adds a nice touch. All at a good price. I loved the bed too - was very comfortable and warm. Would recommend staying here, it has a wonderful charm about it. I will probably be back one day!

A cold, wet miserable drive was quickly forgotten when I walked into the Hydro in Leeton. This hotel is worth repeat visits. It is absolutely sensational. I will always remember this place. Support this place, help keep a little history. You need not go elsewhere, bed, bar, dinner and breakfast.

I stayed at the Hydro with a large group spread across a number of rooms. Despite the difficulty in accommodating us all, the hotel manager Anthony was very patient and helpful in ensuring we were looked after. Our rooms were very clean, and modern while retaining a sense of charm. The included continental breakfast was a bonus, as was the...

I didn't stay here, but attended a great function in one of the private rooms. I found the venue well maintained and appointed appropriately for the era. The finger food catering for our function was very good and the drinks selection varied. The catering staff were attentive, friendly and well presented. They managed the sometimes-rowdy(!) guests with aplomb. i'd recommend...
