This motel reminds me about big family gatherings in childhood. Big wooden table in common kitchen, cosy tea mugs, big shared kitchen with all cutlery and crockery (and yes they have espresso machine) and friendly neighbours. Great location, beautiful garden, nice pool and helpful owners - once on Easter Friday I asked is there anything open in Gloucester and

The accommodation is nice enough however beware that the rooms open up to a communal kitchen and dining area. Can hear conversations in other rooms if talking loudly. Had to chase the owner down when leaving so could pay. Probably better suited to families.

Thank you Wandiemoo for taking the time to do the review. We are truly sorry that you did not enjoy your stay with us as much as you could have and that our facilities were not exactly what you expected. Also the fact that we had to go off site (duck home) at the time when you checked out. It...

Excellent position, close to restaurants. Quiet location, parking, excellent amenities. Only stayed one night but would stay longer in future. The rooms were well fitted out and having another area to relax in or prepare a meal was excellent.

Another great find, booked in on our way home from the coast. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Shared kitchen and loungeroom is a lovely touch. The whole place had a nice atmosphere. Didn't get to meet the hosts however spoke with them on the phone and checking in was very easy. Walking distances to main street.

Have stayed in Gloucester on a few occasions at other motels but this one is definitely the best. The room was spotless with all the comforts of home. Loved how it was more like a B&B than a motel.
