We have just spent an extended weekend at Cavvanbah Beach House. We have been staying here over a number of years -we cant remember how many but it must be at least 6!
Everything that other reviewers have said is true -Steven + Geoff are fabulous hosts -they are full of useful + up to date information about restaurants, cafes ,markets + things to do locally.
Our cottage was spotlessly clean + beautifully decorated -super comfy bed + pillows.
The bathroom with a spa bath was very clean + well stocked with gorgeous Sanctum products -lots of towels for the bathroom + for the beach
As has been written by other reviewers the beach + town are a short walk away.
The Beach House is located in a quiet area -perfect for reading + relaxing in the sun + by the pool.
An amazing breakfast is included- the guys source local products for their breakfast trays -they are very generous + super healthy + yummy! They also provide beautiful home made snacks each day -muffins or slices which are also very yummy!
We can't speak highly enough of this beautiful place + also of it's fantastic hosts Steven + Geoff -we cant wait to return!

F & M, thank you so much for returning to stay , yes i think it's at least 6 times! We enjoy welcoming you each time , it's something special to have such wonderful guests that enjoy what Cavvanbah Beach House is. We have tried to create a ' live like a local' feel to the property, making it as relaxing and comfortable as we can so that you feel right at home. Our aim is to provide a true Byron Bay experience. Being so close to the beach and town is one of the best asset of our property, but slightly removed so as you can enjoy the peaceful surrounds. We put a lot of effort and thought into what we provide for breakfasts, with little twists each day, but still using as much amazing local produce as we can. The pecans and macadamias we use in the muesli Steven hand makes, come directly from the Byron Farmers Markets. He also makes our homemade jams with seasonal fruit as well as the infamous muffins that make a regular theme through other reviews. We hope you will be back soon. T hanks again for writing such a comprehensive review for future guests. Our best rate is always on our website, or if future guest contact us directly via email or phone we can often offer a small saving. Geoff and Steven

You can take the other reviews about quality breakfast, great location and spotless rooms as accurate. I am a hotel owner from San Diego CA and I must say I was VERY impressed! Steven and Geoff were great hosts and didn't get in the way of our quiet enjoyment of the property. Decor and attention to detail was impeccable right down to linen quality. I will definitely stay here again and when visiting Byron and I will make sure I book direct with these guys. The whole experience was a breath of fresh air. You wont be disappointed.

Stayed recently for a wedding and had a fantastic time. Beautifully appointed room, close to beach, 10 minute stroll into town. It was "Schoolies" when we were there but we didn't hear a peep from anywhere! Would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. Oh, and a fab, generous continental breakfast is included each morning - yum!

Thanks for staying with us at Cavvanbah Beach House. 'schoolies' is a big time in Byron during November, and we are glad that your stay with us was not affected by any schoolies groups that may have been staying in accommodation near us. We keep a close eye on noise problems from such groups so as not to disturb our guests comfort. We hope you will come back and stay again for longer next time. Best Wishes, Geoff and Steven

Room is extremely small, not recommended for more than 2 people. Bed uncomfortable, loud and pull out lounge shocking. Ad does not accurately define this property.
Unable to contact staff, refuse to answer messages rude.
We left for a night and came back to our room being let to another couple, who booked it for two days. Extremely dodgy and poorly run services. Still trying to get a refund given they let our room out to someone else

We stayed here one night recently after getting an excellent deal through Agoda. We had the room closest to the beach with its own little verandah which was great in the early morning when we ate our breakfast. Our room was spotlessly clean and the proximity to the beach couldn't be beaten. We took a short 10 minute walk into town along the beach for dinner.
We loved the convenience of having the breakfast in the fridge so that we could eat at anytime and a delicious breakfast it was too. The muesli is to die for!!

A big thank you Kim for staying with us and we are really happy you were able to relax so much. Belongil Beach is just over the road , much quieter and peaceful than the main part of the beach in Byron and all our guests find it very relaxing. Hopefully you are still feeling relaxed after your break with us. Best Wishes, Steven and Geoff

The current owners had just taken over the property when we visited. They could not do enough to help us. They provided very helpful advice on where to eat and visit. The breakfast for the next day arrived mid morning every day. It was more than breakfast as it included snacks for the evening as well. It was a real bonus we could walk into town as well. We would go back.

I booked the Cavvanbah Beach House last minute and so glad we did. The host Geoff was really nice to deal with and had the heater going in our room as it was raining and cold when we arrived. The room was spotless and the bed was perfect, best sleep I’ve had in a long time! Breakfast was fantastic.

Great location and there are dvds and maps in the office. Everything was perfect, nothing to fault whatsoever. Would recommend to everyone to wants a perfect place to stay when in Byron Bay, where the service is impeccable and price is great.

Thank you Cavvanbah Beach House! We will definitely be back.

A fabulous little gem we have found. Gorgeous room with large comfy bed and beautiful decor. Large bathroom. The breakfast is beautiful with all local organic produce. On arrival we had freshly baked cakes waiting for us and once again during our 3 night stay. The surroundings are lovely and so peaceful. Two large beach towels included for our stay. The beach 5 min walk and the town 10 min walk. We will definitely be staying again.

Thanks kindly for your wonderful review of Cavvanbah Beach House, we were really thrilled when it was posted. The short walk to the beach just out our front gate surprises most people with how close it really is when they discover the little walking track across the dunes. We really look forward to your return trip. Best Wishes and thanks again for staying.
