Me and two friends were only supposed to stay at Backpackers Holiday village for one week, but we extended it to two weeks and could've easily stayed there for another week. The hostel is nice and clean with a good kitchen and nice rooms. Good wifi in the reception! The staff working there is legendary, especially Matt, Logan and Kristen....

Surrounded by cafes & eateries, with Woollies just up the road too, the Backpackers Holiday Village is centrally located in Byron Bay. Lets face it, when you're moving around, trying to find the right place for a 'Sea Change', it's not always easy and sometimes one may find oneself a little at a loss of where to live whilst waiting...

Had a great stay in Holiday Village! Really good atmosphere - staff were so friendly and welcoming, especially Sam and Logan. Awesome BBQ for $10 and it had a good area for pre-drinks and food. Free surfboard and bike rental was a bonus, although bit restrictive having to return bikes by 5pm. TV room could be improved so that it's...

Hostel is in a good location for exploring Byron; really close to the coach/bus stop and only a short walk from the beach. I stayed in a four bed dorm, with its own adjacent lounge/kitchen/bathroom space. That was good for sitting and socialising with others. All fairly clean. It was a bit disappointing that each bed didn't have a bunk...

Holiday village is the sickest hostel I've ever stayed at (have travelled Australia for 18 months). The staff is just the best, making the atmosphere unreal. Super social, easy place to be a solo backpacker. with great events such as a $10 all you can eat bbq and sunrise tours to the lighthouse which is absolutely amazing. If I'm ever...

Had a great time, rooms reasonably priced. Kitchen area is so clean and really nice to cook in. Toilets etc all clean and good. Room is nice, stayed in a 4 bed dorm and there was plenty of room. Location is good at the end of town for all the night life and only a 10 min walk to the...

The Holiday Village was such a fun place to stay! It's got a friendly, cool vibe there. Had no trouble meeting people and fitting right in! The staff all did such an amazing job and really made me feel like part of the Holiday Village family! They remembered my name almost straight off the bat which is impressive considering the...
