This was our second visit to this very pretty hotel, which is set in beautiful gardens and close to the Berry township. We made a second visit because we had such a nice experience the first time. The room was very pleasant and quite spacious, quiet, understated decor. However, the TV was small for the size of room and we... More

Last weekend we stayed 2 nights. The room was large and very comfortable although a quite pricey for what it was. Did not see the proprietors until check out when the bill was paid. In this modern age I was a little disappointed that there was no inquiry as to whether or not we had an enjoyable stay. I minor... More

Such a wonderful surprise. We didn't know what to expect but it was perfect. We were only able to stay for one night but from what we expererienced we weren't disappointed. The scenery and setting alone was beautiful, waking up to the countryside was bliss. A few small details in the hotel bedroom would have upped it to excellent, a... More

We booked for a three night stay at Woodbyne. This hotel is located just a few minutes drive outside of Berry, a picturesque and somewhat twee township about 2 hours drive from Sydney. The hotel is a boutique style type but much more a B and B. On the plus side, the gardens are truly beautiful with statues and fountains... More

The town of Berry on the south coast of NSW is deserving of a hotel which is as beautiful as both the town and the surrounding countryside is. And such a hotel is right there. Woodbyne Hotel. I have stayed there several times over the last 10 years, and it is always a joy to return. The beauty of the... More

My partner Joyce and I had the pleasure of staying at Woodbyne earlier this week and we loved it! Its a small Hotel, very private, with beautifully kept gardens you can stroll in or find a cosy seat and read for a while. I am posting this a month or two after staying here as I can't believe the positive post I've just seen. My experience was not at all good, the service was surly and the room smelly.Hardly luxury as I expected. Don't expect much more than motel accommodation for your $330 a night! The breakfast was good and the best part... More

We have no record of this person staying with us so we doubt its authenticity. We have hundreds of people staying with us who just love the place. So we can't be doing too much wrong. You can't please everyone all of the time and unfortunately those one or two persons who were not happy deem it necessary to post... More

We can highly recommend this charming, picturesque boutique hotel having just spent 2 nights staying there. The hosts are friendly and professional and we enjoyed delicious breakfast fare, attractive manicured gardens, while the children were enthralled with the plunge pool and friendly dogs. The rooms are smartly fitted out and very comfortable and we found it the perfect base from... More

We stayed at Woodbyne for a couple of days over the Christmas period. This is a little hotel in a very pretty garden in the country. We arrived for a three night stay, paid for a three night stay...but left after two because the place smelled of sewerage. They charged 5 star prices ($330 a night), but this place is anything but.... besides the disgusting smell pervading the entire site, the owner is cold upon arrival, the bathroom facilities are in desperate need of a renovation...
