The camp ground is basic but looks over the beautiful showground and heritage buildings. It's great to have the farmer's market from 3-6 on a Tuesday and its only a short walk into the main street of Berry. The amenities blocks could do with a thorough and regular clean as they were disgusting. The covid information sheet said the blocks were cleaned twice a day but I was there for three days and the same wad of dirty black hair, and other rubbish that was on the shower floor before I arrived, was still there after I left.
Lots of space and nice grassy sites. Amenities are clean and showers good. A short walk takes you downtown. It’s also a 5 minute walk to the railway station which links with Kiama and other local towns. A farmers market set up on Friday from 3pm to 5pm. $31/night for two people on a powered site. Recommended.
We stayed here for a few days. Arrived around 11.30 am and were told by the caretaker checkin was at 1 pm. We had a booking and could see our sight was empty, but told no, it’s 1 pm. We have to leave and park outside and wait. We watched no mowing or maintenance was done on this site. We returned at 1 pm and checked in. Setting up in the heat of the day, makes it uncomfortable. Location is great, only a short walk to town. No camp kitchen, only 2 toilets and showers. Whilst we stayed here, we saw lots of vans pull in and turned away due to the 1 pm check in. Unless you really want to stay in Berry, I wouldn’t recommend this park.
