Berry is a beautiful place and historical and the Berry Hotel is a fantastic representation of this. The hotel shows it's age well in the architecture and the interior design of the bar and everything else within. The food was delicious and there was plenty of "on tap" choices. Interestingly they had a Passionfruit Cider on tap that my wife loved. Staff were friendly and the concierge at the door was very welcoming and helpful when we said it was our first visit he filled us in on the variety of options of seating and eating.

Pretty exterior & busy lunchtime patrons. Good choice of food. I had the salmon poke bowl which was very tasty. Chicken schnitzel was good too. The steak sandwich was a tad tough though. The pumpkin soup was delicious too.

My husband and I booked the pub for dinner as we could bring our dog. On arrival the young man at the door was so welcoming, he gave us a great run down of the food and drinks available and directed us to our table on the front verandah which accommodates dogs. I ordered the Pasta Orcchiette with fennel, orange and chilli. For $9 extra I added prawns. My husband order surf and turf. Both dishes were amazing. Great size meals of high standard. The pasta sauce was delicious and it had lots of really good prawns. While we were there the staff were friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend this restaurant based on our experience last night!!

Stayed here for a night. Cheap rate for a room and shared bathroom, exactly what you'd expect for the price. Comfy bed and tidy room. Staff were lovely. Also had a very nice meal. Not sure what other reviewers are on about, it's exactly what you expect for a cheap pub stay. We loved it.

My partner and I ordered a meal at the hotel restaurant, she ordered pork ribs which she enjoyed. How, the Angus sirloin which I ordered Medium Rare arrived medium to well done. I took the meal back to the restaurant hostess on duty explaining that in my mind the streak was no where near a medium rare as offered. She curtiosly, told me they would bring me out another one. And that's exactly what the waitress delivered to my table a second steak cooked identical to the first medium to well done. Very disappointed, a chef with fundamental skills should know how to produce a steak cooked correctly in my opinion. Won't be back until they change the chef.
