We stayed two nights at this beautiful house in Aberdeen. The rooms are awesome and so much space for the family to spread out. The hosts are particularly welcoming and friendly. It is like stepping back in time with all the antique furniture and interesting history. Definitely would recommend this B&B.

Our group comprising 3 couples stayed here and have booked again for next year! Open fires, cooked breakfasts, sunset drinks and nibbles on the verandah, comfy beds, great cellar!!! Michelle and Richard were wonderful hosts. Jenny

Really enjoyed our stay at this B&B. The Inn is under new management, and our hosts Richard and Michelle were wonderful - nothing was too much trouble, and they were extremely welcoming and friendly. Our room was comfortable and clean, as were the shared bathrooms. There is a Pub just across the road, which did a reasonable counter meal. The...

We were made to feel very welcome by Cherie, the owner. We were fortunate enough to have the entire house to ourselves as it was a Monday night. We booked the most expensive room, thisis not necessary, as there are are large sitting rooms. There was an open fire in the sitting room which created a lovely ambience, but the...

From the time we arrived till the time we left we were made to feel like it was our home with a warm welcoming and hospitality provided by Cherie (owner). Considering the house was built in the early 1830's if offers a grand feeling with its splendour appearance and the still offers the nostalgia of the huge past that graces...

We had a wonderful stay at the inn and Cherie made us feel very welcome. Yes, it is quite expensive but the owner is trying to inject a little bit of luxury into an area that could do with having its profile raised a bit. I have to disagree with the other review that the house is furnished with things...

I have been stopping here on way through and always loved it/old and now done up. The property looks amazing should be visited. Cherie is a great woman and has put a lot of time/effort and money into restoring this building/gardens. Having had a terrible coffee in Scone, I headed back to Cherie, whereby I had the best coffee (same...

Spent time here with Cherie, were fortunate to be given a room with own bathroom, but most other rooms are share basis. It is a beautiful old building, though due for a bit of TLC. A little advice, when offered anything it will cost. Offered a coffee on arrival which we often get offered at other B & B's, only...

I’m afraid I can’t understand the rave reviews. I agree that the owner is very nice and helpful, and works constantly and tirelessly to try to maintain this very old, very run down property, but it is just WAY too expensive for what it offers. I stayed here on the basis of the many positive Trip Advisor reviews, so I...
