This hotel has almost everything - friendly helpful staff, stunning location, not too big, heated outdoor pool, sauna, indoor pool, excellent rooms. The cream teas were truly excellent, the best we have had anywhere. Our only significant disappointment was the food in the main restaurant, especially the main course, which was mostly lukewarm, pre-cooked, with it seemed zero herbs or...

Called in here on the last day of our holidays for lunch. The setting of the hotel is wonderful, overlooking a glorious beach run by the National Trust. The staff were very helpful and the service was good. The food was excellent, freshly cooked with a lovely piece of fish. Its a little bit pricey but worth it.

The setting for this hotel is perfect - above a wide sweeping bay. The service matches the setting. There is an apparent army of staff who are without exception friendly, helpful and efficient. Both restaurants are excellent.

Lovely Hotel tucked away in a pretty part of Cornwall. The rooms are of a high standard some with sea views . The dining was excellent with a change of menu every day . The Quarter deck dining area gives you the option of sitting outside . Staff were very friendly and nothing was to much trouble. A great getaway...

We stayed here for a few days to celebrate my fathers 90th birthday. It's a lovely hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The first night we were invited to a cocktail party hosted by the owner which was very relaxed and was a pleasant start to our stay. Our room was beautiful and the bed very comfy! We had...

My hubby and I had four lovely days in this hidden charm of a hotel, nothing was too much trouble for the lovely staff. Positioned on the cliff overlooking the beach which I might add I got four lovely swim in. Much to people's amazement. But my 💭 g is when you have such a lovely sea on your door...

Last visit here was great! Even though I found it a bit more expensive than I would have liked. It is what it is, a throw back to an older world where everything is more relaxed. The staff were brilliant, I even had a laugh at Mr Grumpy, head waiter chappy, poor fellow obviously has to deal with a lot...

I have given 1 extra star for the member of staff who searched out a chocolate for my toddler when he confused "hot chocolate" with "eating chocolate" and was not particularly happy when I couldn't produce one!! 😂 The first time we visited we had been walking the dogs on the beach before hand so was a bit wind swept...

We have eaten a number of times (but never stayed) at this wonderfully located, out-of-the-way 4* hotel: indeed, as a Cornish child - in the 50s - Pendower beach (below the hotel) was our family's preferred south coast destination. The views from the eponymous hotel of Nare Head have not changed in 6 decades! So why the disappointment? I chose...

Fabulous place to lunch al fresco with beautiful views of the coast and sea. Food is spot on scallops lobster steak with a cold Peroni dogs welcome and quite happy under the table asleep. Service to faultless which now makes this a must visit at least twice when down in Cornwall every summer. Wonderful.
