This was our first stay and the fact it was dog friendly was what made us book! Julie and Clive were superb hosts! Genuine and friendly, always there if you needed anything but not overpowering! Bridie, their gorgeous sprocker bought a smile to our faces also! The garden is stunning and the rooms were lovely, comfy and airy. The breakfast...

This was our third stay at Redgate Smithy, which tells you something already! We stayed for 2 nights at the start of our honeymoon, along with our dog Charlie. A great welcome from Julie and fantastic breakfasts from Clive (the thought of which kept hubby going through the wedding planning!) Sitting in the conservatory for breakfast was like watching a...

I stayed at Redgate Smithy with my dog, for 11 nights at the end of August. This was the second time we have stayed there, and it won't be the last. The house is really delightful and so well kept and beautifully clean. Breakfast is served in the lovely conservatory, overlooking the pretty garden, where you can watch the many...

My husband and I stayed at Redgate Smithy for three nights during a trip around Cornwall. I only wish it had been longer! The house is lovely and comfortable - especially the breakfast room. It is an enclosed sunporch with a beautiful view of the garden. And the bird feeders just outside attract a lovely collection of colorful birds to...

The email really put us at ease as we had never stayed away with our dog Fergus (cockerpoo). The email said that Clive and Julie were looking forward to our...

We've had a wonderful weekend at Redgate Smithy. One of the best B&B's we've ever been to and properly dog friendly. We couldn't have asked for better hosts and all the little touches to make our dog feel welcome helped us to relax more. The room was small but very comfortable and everything was very clean.
