Just returned from a fantastic few days at Anchorage House. It lived up to all the reviews. Jane and Steve were so warm, welcoming and very helpful. Our room was spacious and comfortable with everything you could wish for but the bathroom was amazing with the biggest bath I've ever seen. Breakfast was huge, with loads of choice and sustained...

We usually stay in an hotel but friends recommended Anchorage House and we thought we would give it a try. We were not disappointed. Steve and Jane are a very friendly couple and make you feel so welcome and at home. Nothing is too much trouble for them, they even booked dinner in recommended restaurants and arranged taxis too. This is a lovely house where we were made welcome by our hosts. A comfortable hotel with a nice large bedroom, having an enormous bed and two armchairs which made relaxing a dream. Plenty of public space to sit in had we wanted. Well located for the south coast of Cornwall and only a short drive to the North coast...

When we decided that it was about time we revisited some of the choice attractions in this part of Cornwall, there was only one place we even considered...

A lot of impressions are still in our mind: especially welcome and comfortable we felt in Jane's and Steve's Anchorage House! The home made cake and tea when we arrived was excellent, the recommendations of restaurants and trips (The Eden Project: a MUST!) were perfect...

We stayed at this blissful B&B (more like a small luxury hotel!! without the flunky in a top hat guarding the front door) for only two days. That was the only problem - 2 days - should have been 2 weeks! Its less than 10 mins from the train station and set back off the main road. Our room was...
