In St Austell area for weekend to see friends. Welcome excellent with tea and cake. Our two rooms were stunning and very relaxing. The breakfasts were wonderful and selection of cereals and fruit spot on. Cooked meals of full English and also scrambled and poached eggs to perfection. Best ever at a B & B. So convenient for The Eden...

Our room, "Charming", was beautifully decorated. The bed and furniture were extremely comfortable and the bathroom, total luxury. The deep, soft bed you just mould into. It was difficult to prise ourselves out in the morning. We had a large free standing bath, perfect for soaking away our days walking excursions around the various Cornish attractions, and an invigorating power...

This guest house is extremely good in every way. The room (we stayed in stunning) was large and comfortable with small extras like rose petals on the bed (it was our honeymoon) and chocolates on departure making all the difference to the luxury feel. The hosts Steve and Jane were welcoming and friendly. Nothing seemed too much trouble. Steve opened...

What can we say? This is probably one of the best B&Bs we have ever stayed in. Steve and Jane made us feel welcome from well before we arrived and didn't disappoint after we checked in. While we stayed in what Steve apologetically said was the smallest room we couldn't fault it. An amazingly comfy bed and a bathroom to...

This was our third stay with Jane and Steve at Anchorage House and we were again given a warm welcome and made to feel at home as soon as we arrived - treated to tea and some of Jane's lovely homemade cake. Our room was beautiful and the attention to detail and care taken to make everything 'just right' is...

Upon arrival we were greeted by Steve and Jane. Lovely couple. We were then asked if we wanted tea and Homemade cake which we both declined as we had been travelling for quite some time and just wanted to relax and unpack. Jane offered to make dinner reservations for us at the nearby pub/restaurant which was a lovely touch. The...
