We visit the Rashleigh regularly for lunch. There is a good menu with options for vegetarians. Also a very good choice for people with young children. Close to Charlestown beach if you're looking for a walk after your pint ;)

I had a lovely lunch I had a chicken burger. The coleslaw was perfect and the fries were fresh. Also creamy mayo. I have to say the ice cream is to much I had 3 scoops 2 mint chocolate and 1 fudge it was great but too much.

Just what we needed after a long walk from Fowey to Charlestown. Great friendly greeting from stsff, a lovely warm room with a lovely powerful and hot shower, lovely evening meal and nice evening in the bar without having to go outside until the following morning as the weather was pretty cold. A great place with the right amount of...

My stay was during the Christmas and New year for 3 days The room booked was a standard room which was lovely, Howver due to an unforseen problem the heating was not working. This was delt with immediately and we were moved to a beautiful sea view room which I would recommend. The views were exceptional, especially at night looking...

Went for dinner on Sunday 15th January after being recommended by a couple of locals. The Rashleigh has a good selection of beers, wines and a varied menu. We were made to feel welcome by the bar staff and the waitresses were friendly and efficient. We chose to sit in the restaurant area but what was supposed to be a...

We had a great meal here today. Nachos starter - very generous starter, we shared and it was still lot but worth every penny. Thai curry can be recommended as can the macaroni cheese. Pecan pie for dessert was also good but best of all was the service. Everyone was very friendly and attentive, it was a quiet day and...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Rashleigh Arms was built in 1851 on the foundations of old clay cellars and was given its name after the creator of Charlestown Harbour, formerly West Polmear, Charles Rashleigh. It also boasts probably one of the only Grade II listed car parks in the country, basically the site of old coal storage yards, and is situated in a World Heritage Site. The Rashleigh is ideally positioned in central Cornwall and provides an excellent jump off point for lots of great attractions with the world famous Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan within five miles radius. We are also within sight of the historic Tall Ships and Charlestown harbour, a world heritage site and an attraction in itself. The Pub has moved with times and although over 150 years old boasts eight four star gold rated rooms, a public bar, popular with the locals that shows all live sport and has great bands every fortnight. Our lounge bar is fantastic for relaxing in with large leather sofas and armchairs with a touch of historic Charlestown. The restaurant is modern, open plan and serves locally sourced food from 12 - 9pm every day; and if the weather's good our patio and garden is the ideal place to spend a few hours or more! ... more   less
