We stayed at Bargrove House for several nights on our first ever trip to Cornwall. We were greeted by Richard (son) first of all who was very friendly. Our room was lovely, very homely with our own private bathroom although not ensuite. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast were plentiful and hearty. Richard senior (Dad) was the host we...

We stayed for three nights in October. Very warm welcome and the room was well appointed and comfortable. Nice neutral decor too. I have three rules for hotels, good shower and towels, good breakfast, and the curtains must meet in the middle. All tests passed! Good host and even made era for while I watched football! Nice location and would...

We booked this B and B after an aborted camping trip and chose it after looking at the revues. We were not disappointed. The downstairs room we were given with comfy bed and lovely en-suite also had its own private lounge where our breakfast (superb) was served. Richard spent time to show us on I-pad lots of places to visit...

Room very comfortable, and we had a good night's sleep. The owner was pleasant and the breakfast was great. A little odd to have his degree certificates on display, though. Attention needs to be given to parking - very constricted when several cars are there, and not possible to turn within the surfaced area - perhaps consider widening the drive...

My husband was going to book a hotel and I wanted a cosy, welcoming, friendly B&B and that is exactly what we got. Richard the owner was brilliant, could not have asked for anything more, he could not do enough to help us and ensure we had exactly what we wanted. The rooms were clean, well presented, bed very comfortable,...

This is an utterly brilliant B&B. We were made to feel so welcome and the owners could not do enough for us. The room was huge, well kept and clean with everything you could need. We had the suite which had it's own private lounge and we had breakfast brought to us every morning which was a real treat. The...

“We originally booked a double room on Late Rooms, we did not realise it did not have an ensuite, however it did have a private bathroom next door, we were able to change it to a room with ensuite next door which was only £5 extra.”
