We felt at home as soon as we arrived. It was a pleasure to stay in Nikki's home & Merlin the dog was very friendly & such a good boy! Our bed was very comfortable, a great nights sleep. The room was very clean & well presented with everything required to enjoy our stay. Breakfast was excellent, well cooked, fresh...

Great location to explore Cornwall, particularly Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project. Despite the weather we received a sunny welcome from Nikki. Merlin her gorgeous dog was so well behaved and made our own dog feel at home. The Arches has a feeling of home from home. We stayed in the Blue room -it is very clean and...

This was our 5th visit back to Nikki (and Merlin!) so good, we can't keep away! Booked fairly late but still able to have our favourite 'Blue Room'! The whole place was having a lick of paint and looked wonderfully bright and fresh. A few new touches just finished it off beautifully. Already planning (hopefully!) 2 x return visits next...

My visit to the Arches was very pleasant. It was very good value the food was excellent and nothing was to much trouble for Vikki who was very friendly and welcoming. The room was very nice and bathroom very clean. I would definitely recommend the Arches and if I was visiting St Austell I would definitely go again. Pat McCloskey

We booked this B&B for 1 night to be close to the Eden Project. Host-Nikki is very welcoming. Just couple of things you need to know. Parking-extremely dangerous to drive-in&out. If you have bigger car (more than mid-size) you won’t be able to park safely. You can try but you might get a heart-attack trying to turn. Room-we got blue...

Very clean rooms, hospitable owner, lovely breakfast and Merlin the dog who is simply adorable. It is not super fancy and glam but a true home away from home. Can really recommend it! This is a good place to start your sightseeing from: Charlestown, Fowey, Eden project are all within short distance,

Fantastic personal hospitalty. Cosy bedrooms and very clean bathrooms. We were given a delicious breakfast with eggs made with clotted cream (yammi). The owners dog was very well behaved and an extra bonus to a lovely stay.
