We wouldn't stay anywhere else, a lovely B&B which is close to the train and bus station and only a short distance from the Eden project. Terry looked after us well from giving us ideas of local places to visit to filling us up with a fantastic breakfast each morning. We'll be back next year

A quiet, friendly guest house, perfectly situated in walking distance of the railway station and buses. Terry the host was a mine of information of where to visit and where to eat. I chose this as a base because of the top reviews on TripAdvisor and can only agree with the praise. I'm a travel writer and fussy where I... More

A warm welcome from Terry and a cup of tea to go with it. A very clean and nicely decorated room with en suite (toiletries included). Excellent choice for breakfast. Nothing to much trouble. Has great knowledge on the area and eating places. Is situated next to a small quiet park which has a great cut through to both the... More

We have just returned from a stay in St Austell, and found Beech Tree Guest House an ideal, quiet, location. Terry, the proprietor, was friendly and welcoming, and very willing to give us advice about places to visit and eat in the surrounding area. We travelled by train, so the location of the property, three minutes walk from the train... More

We had an enjoyable stay at the Beach Tree Guest house in April. We were welcomed warmly by Terry who was very knowledgeable about the local area and was an attentive host without being intrusive. Our room was comfortable and very well equipped. There was a good choice for breakfast and large portions. Location was excellent; just a few minutes’... More

Cute little B&B with small but clean and quiet rooms. Good showers, great breakfast, and wonderful staff. Only concern is that the beds are starting to get worn, but were still ok. Also, you can not control the heat in each room. We opened the window to get some fresh air. No significant issues. We would stay again.

charming place, very attentive without being intrusive, many little extras (and there were many!) all much appreciated, including treats for our dog (and remembering our forgotten charger!). quiet though very near centre and train station, nice small park right outside front door to walk the dog round before bed.

This 4 bedroom B&B is in a nice qiuet location with St Austell station a short walk across the park and local shops within walking distance. The hosts were very warm and welcoming. Stayed here for 6 nights. Really enjoyed our stay. A very homely b&b, with character - loved the bear in the bedroom, and how the room wasn't just like every b&b or hotel we'd stayed at appearance wise. The b&b is well located - just across the park to the train station and less than a 5 minute walk to... More
