B&B for group of 4 cyclists. Really friendly and pleasant stay. Great breakfast. Within walking distance of amazing local restaurant. Range of rooms available: single with en suite shower, double and single room.
Had a great weekend at the Lansdowne, greeted by the lovely Marnie every morning with a delish breakfast! The room had everything we needed, small ensuite but great otherwise. Redruth was lacking a bit in places to eat but we eventually found the great Indian...More
Our room (number three) was a large room with ample storage, double bed and a sofa in a large bay window, but with a tiny en suite. This is a very welcoming B and B offering the best cooked a full English breakfast that I...More
Ideal location, amazing breakfasts, comfortable room...can't ask for more. I stayed in a single, not en-suite, and the room was comfortable, plenty of space in the wardrobe for my clothing for a two week stay, the facilities were clean and I never had to wait...More

John & Susan, If you cannot get a room at the Lansdowne, try the Penventon Park Hotel, They often have offers on which incluse an evening meal and cream tea with a short break. We've stayed there too. its a lot bigger and has more facilities but we didn't get time to use them as we were also visting family. Don't be put off by the 3* rating, it should be higher but as its an old building they can't get the lifts in that are needed to be rated higher. Its quite grand with a piano player in the dining room in the evening. The Penvention & Lansdowne are both close to the train station and easy to tget to. pauline

"Probably quietest at the back as was mine. View of Carn Brea in the distance."
