Working in the hotel industry for the last 20 years I have developed a discerning taste. Talland Bay Hotel is one of the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The owners are art collectors and as a consequence, everywhere you look there are interesting pieces to look at. The service and staff are fantastic as is the location, views...

Such a relaxing place, we were apprehensive taking the dog and our youngest son (12) but we had a lovely relaxing time. The hotel commands stunning coastline and marine views, has an excellent restaurant and is very welcoming. We will definitely be going back. Also a short walk to the coast paths and stunning views.

This is a very late review as we stayed at the hotel for a couple of days more than a year ago, but we had a very restful and enjoyable time whilst there. The main strengths of the hotel are the excellent restaurant, friendly service and beautiful location at Talland Bay. We stayed in a cottage at the back of...

A return visit so will keep it short. Just as amazing as the first time but was lovely to see it in the summer sunshine and be able to enjoy a local cider out on the sun loungers overlooking the bay of Talland and the glistening blue sea. Only stayed 1 night this time and really wish it was longer!...

Lovely well managed hotel in stunning grounds sloping down towards the bay. The food here is also very good but I was left wondering whether the rooms and the food fully deserve their rather high price tags? Drinks too are extremely expensive and I was rather surprised that a hotel of this standard is unable to offer any type of...

My wife's daughter and family have lived in Talland Bay for over 12 years. (Can't be specific as getting old!) For most of those years we had visited them and stayed over and if I was to rate them for hospitality, food, entertainment, an endless supply of wine, well, our rating would go off the page. A plug! http://www.tallandbaycottages.co.uk/ You...

it has all been said but I still want to add our comments. fantastic location, food, staff and more. our little dog was made to feel really welcome ( not the norm even in 'dog friendly' hotels). all the staff are charming, polite and helpful. Michael and Vanessa, the owners, are so nice and friendly too. we did have fabulous...

We stayed in one of the little cottages away from the beautiful main building. All aspects of the stay (with our doodle I might add) were great. We particularly liked the 5pm routine on the sun loungers with a local cider overlooking the amazing view of the Talland Bay. Everything about our week was top class, accommodation, breakfast, dinner (when...
