We stayed at Talland Bay from 26th January for 4 nights. We actually booked for three but ended up staying an extra night. Everything about the place is magical from the decor, through the rooms, the food and above all the service and staff. Having booked a Sea View Room we were upgraded to a suite and I must it...

We have just had the most amazing weekend at the Talland Bay Hotel. The accommodation is first class and the staff are very attentive to make you stay the most pleasurable. The food and the service is exceptional. The owners and the staff ensure that you have an enjoyable time even down to accepting and making dogs comfortable with little...

We had a great couple of days at this hotel. The artwork is a joy, the views fantastic, the local walks really bracing and the food a delight. Not only are the staff both friendly and helpful but they also have time for you and will readily stop whatever they are doing and engage in conversation. The well maintained environment...

Wow, this place is just lovely - eclectic as you would never ever ever put the things together unless you have the MOST amazing eye - I would love to meet the person that achieved this on my next visit. I have been before for a summer supper but we chose it for our daughter's 21st meal in winter -...

We only stayed for one night on this occasion as we were travelling on further in to Cornwall. Everything was up to the expected high standard and it was great fun to spot all the new "artefacts" in the garden and hotel. The change in the menu has maintained the same high standard and as ever the staff were friendly...

Friendly welcome. The dog loved it. Great thrice cooked chip. Splendid view... felt like I was on holiday rather than just down the road. Decor a bit jaw dropping both indoor and out... like a posh Trago Mills... but completely original and fun. Place clean as a whistle. Left feeling relaxed and happy. I'm going to take loads of people...

Within yards of the SW Coastal Path. This has to be the most dog friendly hotel we've visited anywhere in Europe. It was also excellent for humans! Our room was huge and beautifully furnished, opening onto the grounds, with our car parked within 100 feet. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The food was good, if tending toward 'pub grub'...

All the staff without expection were helpful, friendly and it seemed always with a smile on there face, such a pleasant change for this size of hotel. Our rooms where at the back of the hotel, this wasn't a problem as we were only staying for the one night. Both ours, and our friends rooms were very clean and lots...

We stayed over Christmas with our dog. The atmosphere, accommodation, food & service were all superb. The staff all worked tirelessly to ensure everyone had a wonderful experience, nothing was too much trouble & always with a smile. Our dog was made as welcome as us, with a sausage for breakfast & chicken in the evening. The atmosphere created meant...
