This was our first trip to Franchis Holiday Park and it certainly will not be the last. The arrival and booking is was easy and very friendly and you are left alone to do your own thing unless you need any help which is there if you need it. The setting is great and the walk on site with our...

We stayed in Kittiwake Cottage, one of the three self catering bungalows. It was well furnished and equipped. Nice size, it's bigger than it looks from the photos on their website. Nice quiet location. Wifi intermittent but works well enough if you are just occasionally browsing. Great decking area with table and chairs and sun loungers. Grear location for exploring...

This is our second visit to this site and we would definitely return again :) We stayed here 12th-29th August on pitch number 5. This is a corner pitch and is huge! We had more than enough room. We got the sun first thing in the morning, which is lovely. However, it does dissappear around 6 this time of year....

Very good campsite, plenty space, very looked after, kept lovely and tidy grass cut regular, toilets and showers are basic but functional and with hot water, quiet and very well located. I didn’t have the opportunity to meet Kate, but Phil was a superb host. Location is absolutely perfect, very close to a major supermarket and the beautiful Lizard with...

Have used this site since 1995, camping, using chalets and now have a seasonal pitch since they became available. A true "Family" site. Phil and Kate keep the place beautifully maintained and can regularly be seen around the site and stop for a chat. They also post a daily weather report with tidal times to help you plan your day....

Have been using this site for "many years" , its great not to have all the extra`s which I`m not prepared to pay for or use. The site is kept clean, functional and tidy and the shop offers the basics if you are caught short. I can recommend the part baked bread in the morning which is ready in 10...

We love this site which is convenient to tour the Lizard. The owners are friendly and helpful. Plenty of beaches and cliff walks close by. It is quiet in June and pitches are a good size with both sunny and shaded ones.

Site facilities were really old and in desperate need if upgrading pot wash area was dire all pitches were on a slope only positive was the location I would not recommend to anyone. The shop was hardly open and only sold the very basic things. One of the worst sites we have been on

Thanks for your review. We're very sorry you didn't enjoy your stay with us. We genuinely want people to have a lovely time here and its sad when people don't as we recognise how precious holiday time is. We know that the majority of our visitors do enjoy their time here, many returning regularly, and would disagree with your comments...

A campsite with rental caravans and lodges. Very sloping pitches, but dry and not muddy even after the wet August. Basic but clean toilet shower blocks. Wooden shed with local information leaflets, 2 washing machines and 2 tumble driers which can be used for a niminal fee. A freezer available there for ice blocks. Easy acces from a very busy...

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We're sorry you felt our pitches were 'very sloping'; we are natural park and usually describe them honestly as 'gently sloping' which actually allows our ground to drain more quickly than many other sites. Some are flatter than others and we're happy to offer advice to our visitors on which...
