Though the location is a bit out-of-the-way and the road seemingly impossibly rough and narrow, take heart - it's worth the drive. The rooms are spotless and airy with great views, and the food is top-notch. You can walk down to the beach, onto the coastal path, or into town. Beautiful garden and pefect comfort! Susie does a lovely dinner,...

Like so many of the 'Halftides' reviewers I could wax lyrical about how brilliant Susie looks after all her guests at her 5 star B&B. We stayed in her fab 2 bed cottage and we had a lovely weeks break which we were so in need of, and really did not want to go home. Suffice to say JUST BOOK...

When we were driving up to Halftides I must admit we were slightly concerned. The lane that leads to the cottage is extremely narrow - if our saloon car had been any bigger I think we'd have got stuck! But when we arrived it was all worth it. Halftides cottage is a real sanctuary. Wonderfully decorated by Susie, who runs...

On the final leg of your journey to Halftides, you will wonder where on earth the narrow, bumpy single track lane is leading you to! But the view from Halftides is so worth it. Magnificent Cornish coastal panoramas, an excellent and freshly cooked breakfast together with beautifully furnished rooms and the most supremely comfortable beds! Suzy is a wonderfully welcoming...

We enjoyed our stay in Susie's B&B very much. The location is superb with the breathtaking view on Polurrian cove. The coastal path is on the doorway and you can walk to Mullion Cove in 20 minutes. Breakfast is excellent with fresh juice, seasonal fruits and bacon and eggs of course. Rooms are cosy and stylish. We certainly go back!

Having been fortunate enough to have stayed in many places in both north and south Cornwall and Devon, if it is location, location, location you are after, then it does not get much better than this. Oh, and if you are after a great cottage and welcoming hostess, then look no further The 2 bedroom cottage is very quiet and...

The cottage is great for a get away. It's only a 10 minute walk to a secluded beach that is good for swimming. We went as a base to walk around the South Cornwall coastal pathway and weren't disappointed. Mullion is a short walk away with good pubs and shops. Susie provides great evening meals to order. Try the fish curry...

Halftides is in the most beautiful setting - set in a valley which is perfect for walking and fantastic views down to the sea. The gardens are very pretty with lots of seating - you can watch the rabbits playing around early in the morning. Susie is the loveliest host who made us feel so welcome - home made cakes...

After a long journey from London, Halftides greeted us in the best possible fashion. Susie was a brilliant host, providing everything you would want in a luxurious b&b. Delicious breakfasts, with fantastic coffee (often a disappointment with hotels/b&b's) serving yummy home made food. We had dinner one night too, again it was delicious and Susie hosted brilliantly. She made us...

Having never been to Cornwall before, Half Tides was the most relaxing, gastronomic feast and all round great place to stay. The wonderful Susie made the most amazing breakfast, no expense spared down to freshly squeezed juice. We also had dinner in one night, with other B&B guests which again didn't disapoint. Susie makes you feel at home and her...
