We stayed at the cottages which belong to the Headlands Hotel for the second year in a row just before Christmas. It is the perfect spot for us as we have two dogs and enjoy having them with us whilst being able to use the Hotel facilities. The staff are super friendly and the place has such a unique atmosphere:...

This hotel has changed hands which is fantastic. I stayed here before and it was rubbish but there is a massive refurbishment going on. The bedrooms and public rooms are hugely better and the bathrooms are being done soon. Breakfast was beautifully cooked and the cream tea was great. I would never have recommended it in the past but certainly...

Superb location, Sally brilliant, the unhappy chap a very strange letdown. Stayed there a few times before as everywhere else was booked up and this was the only place we could get in at and I know the reason why. Andrew the co-owner is not the most sociable person on earth and I would go as far to say one...

Myself and two friends stayed at the Headlands hotel for an evening a couple of weeks ago. The booking was a last minute arrangement, but luckily there were 3 rooms available for us and the lady we spoke to on the phone was very helpful and accommodating. On arrival we were impressed with the hotel itself (lovely location / views...

This would be a more positive review if (a) it was sold as a B&B and (b) it was priced as one. There are several problems with calling it a hotel, and as a B&B it is very over-priced: (1) Breakfast is served from 8 until 9 - and this was a weekend - this is not a misprint! If...

this is a lovely b&b in a superb location. we paid £45 per person per night in a sea view double room including breakfast. it was pretty good value considered i just paid over £90 per night for a single room the size of a cupboard looking at roads in central london. the seaview was unobstructed, it was amazing. the...

Great views, very comfortable room with comfortable bed. Very friendly, chatty & informative owners. Beautiful spot overlooking the bay to Chapel Point, with a short walk to Portmellon, lovely coastal walk further along the footpath. Also a short walk into Mevagissey centre, great fish & chips at the Centre Cafe! Most definitely recommend.

we stayed at this hotel in October and had lovely weather. Our comfortable en-suite room had the most fantastic view over the bay and all facilities you could want. The location as well as being stunning is very convenient for some of the best attractions Cornwall has to offer. We found the owners to be charming, helpful and very friendly....

Should not be classified as a hotel, shower is frustraiting to work not to mention a health and safety issue, room smelled, very noisy cricking floors, very small rooms and bathroom, thin walls, host not very welcoming, not very clean. Amazing how you are treated if you only want to stay one night, it seems some owners don't really care...

The only thing that affected our delightful long weekend break in Mevagissey was the weather. However the Headlands hotel and its friendly owners made up for the rainy weekend. Hearty breakfasts, cooked to perfection, healthy measures in the bar of an evening, pleasant and informative chats with Sally and Andrew and a sea view to die for, what more could...
