Great find within walking distance of the harbour & its own beach. Wonderful views from the sea facing rooms & we peaked at room 11 which was just gorgeous. We stayed in room 3 which was small but spotlessly clean & cosy. Breakfast was good. Staff really welcoming & lovely & the whole vibe was great

Just spent our second visit at this lovely hotel. Beautiful room with sea view. Delicious food and friendly staff. Easy walk along the costal path into Mevagissey. Lots to do on the area, we visited, Lanhydrock, Trelissick and Lamorran gardens as we had perfect sunny weather. We will definitely go back one day.

This is one of the best value-for-money hotels we have stayed in. The staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. The food excellent. A good menu, which changed from day-to-day. The room we stayed in (mid-price) was smallish but entirely adequate with all the usual facilities and good storage. The location is superb. The views wonderful. We regard this hotel as...

A relaxing stay. Our superior room had good facilities and a lovely sea view, although not very large. Food well prepared, particularly the desserts. Staff friendly and helpful. Gardens lead straight out to cliff path to St Austell one way, Mevagissey the other. Very handy for visiting some lovely gardens.

One of the best hotels I have ever had the pleasure of staying in. Welcoming and attentive staff. A great English country hotel. Very romantic. Great walks along the coastline path. And for the fit. Try steps down the cliff to the beach.

We had a wonderful stay from the minute we arrived. A lovely welcome by very friendly staff, a gorgeous room with a great view, very clean and modern decor (but in keeping with the gorgeous period atmosphere of the property). We had drinks on the terrace before taking the coastal path down into Mevagissey where we enjoyed a great meal...

Beautiful hotel, a sea view unlike any other view we have seen so far and very friendly and helpful staff. Delicious food thus no need to go out in the evening. Just relax, enjoy a fab dinner and watch the sea!

The hotel was quaint and typically English. We received a very warm welcome from the owner, who later that day spent time with us showing us detailed maps and sharing his extensive local knowledge of the area, after we told him we were keen walkers and were planning a coastal walk the following day. Our room was a reasonable size,...

Arriving with our dog ,we were made very welcome. The room had access to the garden,a trade off against the upstairs rooms with better views, and ideal for us. It was a charming room, pale blues and whites, pleasant ensuite, tea making and a rug for Muffin! The lounge has a lovely window seat and the amazing sea views. The dining room also faces the...

Stayed for 2 nights, a Saturday and Sunday, absolutely brilliant. From the moment we arrived, we just knew it was going to be a great weekend. John, the hotel manager, greeted us and showed us to our room which was ready nice and early. The view was absolutely stunning! We then had a cream tea and Prosecco before exploring the...
