This truly wonderful place has come to mean a great deal to us. It is somewhere where we can totally relax in the most beautiful surroundings. The panoramic views of the countryside around to Widemouth Bay add to the whole experience. The beautiful spa bath and waterfall shower is such a luxury after a day of walking - the canal...

We stayed in 'Shooting Star' to celebrate our engagement, and we can honestly say it is one of the most beautiful places we've ever been to. Fantastic views, the property is extremely clean and well equipped, really comfy bed too! Rowan and the rest of the Blewett family couldn't have done any more for us, so lovely and welcoming. We...

I reviewed Wooldown back in November 2011 after our first visit this is now our fourth visit and we are already talking about arranging our fifth. I think the fact that we have returned so many times says it all and if you read other reviews you will see that lots of people are returning guests. The accommodation is first...

Having just returned from our holiday ( we stayed in moonshine) we have to say that it was all we wanted and much more. The lovely family that owned the properties made us feel very welcome. Moonshine had fantastic veiws of unspoilt countryside and had been built and furnished to a very high standard. It was in an excellent location to...

What a lovely experience - Shooting Star Cottage was superb. Loved the underfloor heating. The bathroom and the rest of the 'cube' - simply gorgeous. Pity the weather didn't always play ball otherwise we would have enjoyed and made more of the patio and the loungers. Never mind the beautiful view provided a good compensation. We would definitely go there...

My husband and I recently spent our honeymoon at Wooldown and could not have asked for a more beautiful and relaxing place to stay. Shooting Star is just gorgeous. The bi-fold doors open onto the most beautiful views across the countryside and across to Widemouth Bay. It usually takes me a few nights to settle when I'm on holiday but...

Beautiful accommodation in a very peaceful location with lovely views. I am extremely fussy and found this to be the first self catering accommodation we have stayed in which has been as clean as our own home. I felt relaxed as soon as we arrived. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

Well we are not sure if we should let out our secret. We have just spent two weeks at Wooldown in Dewdrop Dairy. We have not had such a relaxing holiday for some time. The cottage is top class as are the facilities. Super Kingsize bed. Kitchen well equipped. Lovely bathroom. Thanks to Rowan a warm welcome after a frustrating...

We love this place, we have stayed here on numerous occasions and it is usually on our annual holiday list. It's also where my husband proposed. We stay in the 'couples' cottages and find them a complete luxury. Everything you need is in the kitchen, rooms offer fantastic views. The lounge area is very relaxing after a day exploring the...
