I found this B & B on booking.com. This house is full of character, a reasonable price and located conveniently. It was difficult to find as the address on the site is not the street that you drive into to park. A call to the owners set me on the right path. It would be helpful to have the parking... More

Thank you for your comments. We do re-confirm all bookings which include directions on how to find us and park. Unfortunately not everybody reads these confirmations. The room in question (Room 3) was booked for 2 people only (not a family) and is one of our largest kingsize doubles. There is plenty of room for 2 people and luggage. We... More

Our room (No.3) was excellent, really nice touches in the room from a bottle of water to all different tea's. My family recently visited us in Lostwithiel and stayed at Penrose B&B. They very much enjoyed their stay. My parents had what's probably the best room - with an elevated view over the town. They loved the breakfast and hospitality of their wonderful hosts.

Greeted on arrival by Chris & Heidi, who made our dog feel at home straightaway, and then explained the house, the breakfast routines and the locality. We had a big, comfortable room at the top of the house (room 7), extra seating, an eclectic mix of furniture and a small desk in the window with a view over the town.... More

We had a lovely welcome from the owners Chris and Heidi. We had the attic room which was very clean and comfortable and had views over Lostwithiel and the valley beyond. Lots of nice little touches such as a basket of extras in the very nice en-suite shower bathroom and a generous tray in the bedroom with a kettle, tea/coffee/... More

Wonderful warm welcome on arrival and Chris even carried our heavy bags to our room - which is unheard of in most B&B's! Rooms were immaculate and very spacious and the beds were very comfortable.
