We had an amazing four night stay. Could not fault the room the staff..the cleanliness. Highly recommend and we will definitely look forward to visit again. Happy New Year to all the staff there who were tremendous in this horrible covid environment...could not have been any more welcoming and professional.
We stayed for three nights and really enjoyed our stay. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, the room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. We have stayed in the Premier Inn a few times this year in different places around the south of England and always find them very reliable friendly clean and comfortable. Hayle is very near St Ives and we left our car in St Erth station carpark and caught the train to St Ives. I would recommend this because it is very hard to park in St Ives and it was such fun looking out the window at the lovely scenery from the train window. We also drive to lovely Mousehole, Penzance and St Michaels Mount. which is not far from our hotel. Also, I recommend buying a Cornish Pasty from Philp's bakery in Hayle, very tasty.
Room much too hot (even in October) meant hardly any sleep. Stated no airconditioning but with no means of cooling the room (window with minimal opening and no fan) , completely spoilt our stay. Certainly did not expect this from a Premier Inn. Very disappointing.
We stayed on the 4th October 2020, Ground floor room...- outside temp approx 8 deg C- With room thermostat set as low as possible and window open as far as security cord would allow...room temp would not drop below 21degC. Security cord on window would not allow it to open far, with curtains open to aid air flow high intensity security light shining in made it impossible to sleep Reported to staff in the morning who were sympathetic, they knew about the problems- but said you will get no where if you submit a complaint to customer relations. They were right- Customer services reply dismissed the complaint- SO MUCH FOR A GOOD NIGHT GUARANTEE. Premier in Customer services falling back on the fact that there was no air conditioning!!! Would that be required in the winter!!!! All told very disappointed as Premier is normally good-…
We had a fantastic 4 nights we were well looked after and in the horrible time with COVID we felt very safe and comfortable There were no issues and if you requested anything from reception they did all they could for you. Thank you again Andy and Clare Mockridge
