We Booked out three rooms in the B&B and also staye in SC accommodation in the boathouse for my daughters wedding beginning July. Rooms are well laid out, with plenty of space and B& B had ensuite bath and shower rooms. Wifi is free and available to all guests. The scenery and setting was beautiful, peaceful, relaxing and private, nestled...

This was our first stay at Polhilsa Farm - we stayed in Dairy Cottage. It was lovely. There were two lovely bedrooms on the ground floor, one double and one twin, double had ensuite which was lovely and a walk in wardrobe. The twin had a walk in wardrobe with the bathroom just outside the door. The Kitchen and Living...

Polhisa is a hidden gem in this part of Cornwall, deep in rural charm, surrounded by natural beauty and yet only minutes from the equally delightful town of Callington and not far from Launceston and onwards to Bude with its golden beaches. Our room was spacious and comfortable with ensuite shower and tea making facilities. We enjoyed eating out in the evenings...

We have just stayed here for a week, as a dog friendly holiday. We stayed in the boat house, which is situated right next to the lake. The views are absolutely beautiful, even in the middle of winter. There's a wide range of wildlife to see too. The owners were friendly and welcoming, and allowed us to have a peaceful...

Grounds very unkempt. Owner very unhospitable . We only stayed for one hour and couldn't wait to get out. Photographs of property not truly represents this place. We arrivedat around 5 pm but there was no where to get a meal. Owner told us we had to pre order anything to eat. The nearest place to buy any food was...

I booked at short notice, just looking for a dog-friendly break in Cornwall. Kay could not have been more helpful or welcoming. The B&B room I stayed in was a family room with a double bed and a single bed, plus a seating area with two chairs and a table. The furnishings were all of the highest quality, as were...

Stayed at Polhilsa B&B for 2 nights with the dog. Very good family room accommodation with a double bed and bunk beds. Small but adequate bathroom. Pleasant breakfast room with your choice of breakfast cooked to order.

There's a timeless relaxed atmosphere at this proper farm B&B set overlooking picturesque lakes. We especially enjoyed the abundance of birds and wildlife about the place, from the Canada geese to swallows, kittens to rabbits- absolutely delightful! Wish we had longer to see more- apparently there are bats at night and course fish in the lake and no doubt there's...

Excellent B&B on a working farm. The grounds are stunning with two large lakes and no shortage of wildlife. After checking in, we sat on the lawn by the lakes and within half an hour, saw a Kingfisher. The room was well furnished and comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities. Every time we came back we were brought fresh...

We have stayed in both self-catering and B&B at Polhilsa and have returned many times over the last few years. The relaxed atmosphere and beautiful setting would be hard to beat. Weather in this area is also good as any bad weather does not last long. Kay, Phil and Margaret make their guests feel so welcome and nothing is ever...
