From checking in through the service at the bar and restaurant, all the staff made such an incredible effort to make our stay run as smoothly as possible. The restaurant menu is more than a credit to the head cheff and all the staff in the kitchen, front of house attention was impeccable too. The lengths others went to really...

Thank you for your review - it is much appreciated by all the staff. We aim to provide a great service throughout the year but, in the winter when we are less busy, our staff have the opportunity to add a little bit more of a personal service. It is lovely for this to be recognised and hopefully your comments...

Recently booked a party of 6 friends here for a 3 night stay, along with a party of 30 dining on the Saturday evening. The hotel and staff were all so very friendly and helpful. Food was outstanding. My friends tell me that the hotel rooms were lovely, as was the daily breakfast and we look forward to booking there...

What a wonderful place this is. Lovely rooms, the friendliest staff I have ever met and excellent food made this break one of our most memorable ever. We were made to feel welcome from the minute we walked into reception until the minute we left. I must mention Angela who was so knowledgeable and helpful both with the menu and...

We've eaten here a few times before and we've had an enjoyable meal every time. Quality food as before ...3 courses each and nothing to fault in any of them... The wine list whilst not extensive contains something for everyone in my opinion. Good service from a knowledgeable waiter. Just one request...Bring back the pork bonbons ... I could eat...

Very welcoming for my wife and our two small dogs. Disappointed we could not book room 10 but room 9 was lovely (but ghost free sadly) , spacious, clean and very cosy! Staff very welcoming of our dogs especially one member of staff who was happy to greet them and got them a treat. Also happy to accommodate dogs and...

Stayed here for the weekend , 29th/30th Oct. Found the staff helpful, the food was wonderful. It is an old hotel so you have to make allowances for that, ie in the décor etc. On the hole I would go back again.

We were exploring the N Cornwall coast and took a last minute reservation. Friendly staff, nice accommodation, food was good and we have the bonus of the Thursday evening folk singing in the Bar. We were welcomed into the group and took away some new songs and friendships.

Have just thoroughly enjoyed another relaxing break at the Wellington. As usual, I found the staff to be friendly and helpful at all times. Without exception, they are a credit to the Company. I would, however, like to officially record extra special thanks to Sarah, who helped me through the process of getting a tyre on my vehicle replaced, and...

Popped in last minute for an evening meal. Although most tables were booked we found a table and had a fantastic dish to share with salad....couldn't fault the service or the food...will visit again 😀

Good hotel, clean, well appointed bedroom & shower room. Good enough cooked breakfast. For us a good place to spend a couple of nights just don't recommend eating here. Food disappointing & overpriced, better options elsewhere in town.

Thank AliRach
