My family and I were staying at a house by the harbour in the holidays. We had researched before the trip and were keen to go to The Wellington. My wife was taken at first sight and the kids thought we were at a castle! We ate three times for lunch, and twice in the evening, and had many drink...

First and foremost, I can only apologise that your holiday ended on this note. As hopefully you can see from other reviews, we take pride in our customer service. Use of a mobile phone is not permitted by staff while on duty but more importantly failing to provide a friendly and high standard of service is not acceptable. We have...

We fell in love with Boscastle and The Wellington Hotel this weekend. The hotel has amazing character and the little snippets of the buildings history dotted around the hotel were great to see. Our room was excellent and extremely clean as was the rest of the hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and made our stay all the...

Stopped for lunch whilst visiting Boscastle. Did not seem a great amount of choice generally and took a chance in the bar even though not staying overnight. Clean. Good range of ales including guest ales. Dog friendly. Nice food. Friendly staff. Cant ask for much more!

The apartment is really very comfortable and exceptionally clean. The lady on reception was so helpful when we had a problem, she soon solved it for us. The waitress at breakfast was very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was very good I would definitely recommend it. A big thank you to all staff 😃 X

Popped in for a cheeky drink whilst on a circular walk around the village, we had a couple of beers, but came back later to have a few rounds of Mount Gay they had behind the bar. Really enjoyed banter with the friendly staff. Thanks guys.

Spent 4 days at the Wellington and it was very enjoyable. Excellent room - we opted for the Thomas Hardy in the turret- and very helpful staff. The receptionist gave lots of info about local places and all the staff were first class.

We had room 14, a Turret Room as a free upgrade on a Red Letter Day Gift. The room was beautiful with lovely little touches like towel robes and cornish biscuits. We had a free tea and coffee in the nicely decorated bar and had our evening meal booked in the restaurant. The restaurant menu was a little sparse especially...

Set in the heart of Boscastle and only a short walk from our B&B. Very friendly staff and excellent service. A nice relaxed atmosphere and the food was always very tasty. They made everyone feel welcome.
