Certificate of Excellence
A lovely spot in a steep-sided valley on the rugged north Cornwall coast, this National Trust-owned rural retreat is on the harbour edge. Here, on your Cornish coast break, you can sit and watch this pretty, bustling fishing village come to life during the day and return to a sleepier pace in the evenings. For a more energetic activity break, you’ll also find excellent surfing and sailing plus miles of coastal footpaths to explore - great for walking holidays. It's self-catering only here, but you can get to know the locals in the nearby pubs while sampling some tasty Cornish food and local ales.

Boscastle is probably one of the most beautiful locales in the country for a YHA, and the hostel itself lived up to the location. Extremely clean and comfortable, with lots of interesting literature about the rebuild of the hostel after the 2004 flood. The rooms...More

This small YHA Hostel is just brilliant. You could not get a better location of Boscastle and with self-catering facilities it means that you have the choice to eat out or in. The rooms are clean, the showers are brilliant and the staff incredibly friendly.

Took a trip away with my Ramblers group to Boscastle, the hostel was excellent - the decor was in good condition, the rooms were good and the communal area was good too. Staff did a great job as well. So all round really good.

You have to park in the village car park about 250m away. But you can drive down to the hostel to unload.
