I travel from Cornwall to visit my son in Shepperton regularly and I simply would not stay anywhere else. I am welcomed like an old family friend by the General Manager and all the staff are professional, friendly and charming. The hotel has a lovely decor and atmosphere, a well stocked bar and a terrace looking over the very pretty...

While my single room was small, service was impeccable. Lovely old Inn full of historic features. Marvellous Breakfast and again great service. The Thames is just across the Square. A delightful reprieve after a not so great experience the night before in Chertsey.

I had two nights here as part of a work trip and it was good. The staff in particular were very nice, friendly and obliging. I just had a single room that was pretty basic, but the bed was comfortable enough, and it was warm. The ensuite needed some work but all in all a very good stay, at a...

Had the pleasure of staying here for 2 nights in February, we had a lovely welcome and checked in straight away. We booked a family room which was a good size and had a good bathroom, everything was very clean and tidy. Some family members were staying here too and they are elderly and unstable in their feet so found...

Excellent last minute overnight stay, found on booking.com, would stay again. Staff very pleasant, food tasty & I am sure home made. Old fashioned but with charm, very clean. Only noise caused by the couple in the room next door who seemed to forget walls in hotels are paper thin! Not the hotels fault though,

The hotel staff are so friendly and helpful, the menu and food are very good. There is a nice bar restaurant area, although disappointing there are no real fires just Christmas lights in the grate. There is a nice atmosphere about the place, and the hotel certainly serves the community as well as the guests. The location - very near...

Dear Philip, Thank you so much for taking the time to review us. We are delighted to hear such positive comments, I take on board the feedback about the size of your single room. We don't have any real fires as people kept throwing rubbish into them which became a fire hazard. Thanks again, Garrett Hayes, General Manager

Third time we have stayed here as a base for the Cenotaph commemoration in London and for the money it is almost impossible to find fault. The rooms are perfectly good for the price with everything you need, there is safe parking, the area is very quiet and what the hotel does have is character. From the Disraeli dining room...

As we do every year, we visit the Anchor after the cemetery. On this occasion "after" ordering three large wines we asked to see the lunch menu. The lady behind the bar stated that food was not available. I good idea would be to inform potential diners prior to ordering drinks. We left, and will now not return. Two bad...

Dear Guest, Thank you for the feedback, it is really dissapointing that we have gone from hero to zero. When making your annual visit it would be worth making a reservation for lunch that would guarantee you a table and we could let you know our food service times in advance. Apologies for the poor service you felt you received,...

Stayed for two nights over a weekend. First impression was not good, as the young lady trying to check us in was inexperienced and had to phone for help. This took 20 minutes. Our room lacked attention to detail. The shower rail was very rusty and the shower curtain was ripped. Only one of the two windows in the room...

Service was very amicable. I enjoyed the stay and the warm pub atmosphere. The room was good value for money. The desk clerk ordered a cab for me and gave me clear instructions for coming in late. I would stay again.
