Lovely room , smallish but had all you need t.v. Toiletries etc. Comfortable bed. Teas/coffee making facilities. Helpful staff. Good breakfast.lovely grounds. Very close to town. Lovely area. Very close to restaurants pubs etc but not noisy

Yes, both mine and my colleague's rooms had an electric kettle for boiling water.
Please note however, if you're traveling with a baby, there are lots of narrow and steep staircases which could cause you trouble.

I don't believe they do allow dogs. They were not unfriendly when we were there but the staff were not always as ready to serve as you may wish, especially the staff at breakfast. Reception staff seemed fine.
